Chievo vs Cagliari Preview
There is no doubt that Chievo will be playing Serie B football next season after a disasterous run in Serie A this campaign. They’ve only picked up 11 points so far this season and even though there are still 10 matches remaining, the 14 point gap to safety will surely be too much for them to bridge, especially when you look at their form.
They’ve only won two matches all season in competitive fixtures and in their last nine Serie A fixtures they have picked up just three points. On home soil things don’t get much better for them, with just one win all season. In their last four at home they’ve failed to score in two of them and we’re expecting few goals tonight.
Cagliari can also back this stat up quite emphatically. They have not scored in their last six Serie A away matches and if Chievo are ever going to win another home game this season, this is the fixture they’ll be hoping to do it in.
Chievo vs Cagliari Betting Tip
[inline_advert ad=”2″]Amazingly. we’re actually going to bet on the bottom side winning this match. This is largely due to the visitors’ shocking away form but also because Chievo are capable of scoring goals – they have now scored in their last two games including in a 2-1 home defeat to Milan when they last played at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi. At odds of 7/4 with Bet Victor, there might just be a bit of value in betting on the home team tonight.
As our first prediction suggests, it will probably be a low scoring match so don’t rush to your TV to watch it, but Cagliari are shocking on the road.
Chievo vs Cagliari Correct Score Tip
[inline_advert ad=”3″]The last of our bets for the match is going to be a correct score prediction and for this we are backing the hosts to win a tight game 1-0. As talked about above, Cagliari have been terrible away from home recently and took their tally to no goals in six when they were beaten 2-0 by Bologna earlier this month. They are winning their home matches which is keeping them away from the relegation zone but are getting beat every time they play away.
Chievo are already been tipped to win this match and a 1-0 correct score bet could be a decent investment at odds of 7/1.
