Aldershot Town to beat Bradford City – 85/40

League One side Bradford City are staring an FA Cup upset in the face here – they have lost their last seven matches and go to Nationsl League side Aldershot Town this weekend. The hosts are in good form themselves, winning three of their last four home matches.

Bradford sit bottom of the table in League One and they will want to concentrate on getting themselves out of trouble rather than a cup run. Aldershot will be right up for this in-front of a big crowd and they’re the first potential FA Cup upset for this weekend’s Round 1 fixtures.

Metropolitan Police (Draw or Win) vs Newport County – 15/8

Newport County face a classic banana skin here when they travel to Non-League Premier side Metropolitan Police. The hosts have already had to navigate four rounds of FA Cup matches to get to this point and they needed two replays, and two extra time wins.

Newport will not fancy this trip and they aren’t in great form themselves, they haven’t won in four matches and have only picked up one win in their last seven matches.

It is probably asking too much of Metropolitan Police to win this match but we will bet on them to win or draw at 15/8 with William Hill as another of our FA Cup betting tips for an upset this weekend.

Bromley to beat Peterborough United – 17/4

For the last potential FA Cup upset this weekend we travel back to the National League and a Bromley side who warmed up for this match with a 4-0 win over Hartlepool last weekend. They had a poor start to the season but have won five of their last eight matches not and will fancy their chances against League One opposition here.

Peterborough lost 1-0 at Wycombe last weekend and we’re banking on them not being at 100% for this match and expecting to cruise through to victory. Their form was very good before that defeat and with one eye on a promotion push even at this early stage of the season, Bromley could capitalise.
