Havant and Waterlooville vs Aldershot Betting Tips

The first of tonight’s football predictions is a home win. Havant are yet to taste victory in front of their own fans since being promoted but they have picked up some decent points here and have kept things relatively solid when facing financial powerhouses AFC Fylde and Salford City. They almost grabbed a point against Hartlepool as well but conceded a 90th minute which was duly dispatched by Ryan Donaldson. In contrast, Aldershot’s away form has been rotten. Their problems on the road aren’t just confined to this campaign with the Shots picking up their last away win on February 10th. Their home form has improved and there are signs of this team gelling but they need to improve their record on the road. This is only a 49 minute journey for Gary Waddock’s travel-sick side but the manner of their away defeats is worrying. They have averaged less then three shots on target per game on the road and that record needs improving. The hosts are in double figures for shots at home and although they haven’t been rewarded for their endeavors, I’d prefer to keep them on side here. The first of our Havant and Waterlooville vs Aldershot Predictions is for Havant and Waterlooville to Win at 21/20 with Ladbrokes.

Although neither side has been rock steady at the back this season, Havant’s home games have often been tight and they don’t leak too many in front of their own fans. They’ve conceded just four times so far in their opening four matches at West Leigh Park and they will look to keep it relatively solid here. Aldershot have netted just once on their travels so far and have failed to net in five of their opening eight games this season. They might be able to get themselves onto the scoresheet here but they will have to work hard and increase their efforts on goal in order to trouble the Havent defence. 2-3 Goals would have landed in three of Havant’s opening four home matches and in six of Aldershot’s eight games and is worth another go here at odds-against with Bet Victor. It’s 11/10 for there to be 2-3 goals in this game.

Havant have had a number of different goalscorers this season with Alfie Pavey scoring twice, Alfie Rutherford getting in on the act against Hartlepool and Nicke Kabamba on two for the season. The latter looks a decent price to find the net here. He’s off the mark at home for the season and was on loan at Aldershot last season. He netted twice in ten games whilst playing for the Shots and he would relish the chance to net against his former employees. He’s a standout price of 9/4 with Betway to find the net anytime in this game.

We have tips for the UEFA Nations League which kicks off this week

Havant and Waterlooville vs Aldershot Betting Preview

Neither of these two sides will be satisfied with their start to the season and this game is the perfect opportunity to kick-start their campaigns. Havant’s only home defeat came in the 90th minute to a penalty and unsurprisingly, they have been priced up as the favourites for this match. Betfred are offering 21/20 about the home side to pick up their first three points of the season at West Leigh Park. Aldershot have started picking up points at home but they’re struggling on the road and they aren’t expected to collect three points here. Gary Waddock’s men are available at 13/5 but there are unlikely to be too many takers. The draw is available at 12/5 and could be a sensible option here.

Havant aren’t conceding many goals at home in direct contrast to their relaxed approach to defending on the road. Aldershot kept it relatively tight on the road against Wrexham last week but the Dragons left with a scrappy 2-0 success and they may try and frustrate the home side here. It’s 8/11 for Under 2.5 Goals in this game whilst anyone backing goals will be rewarded with a price of Evens for Over 2.5 Goals.

The aforementioned Alfie Pavey is the favourite in the first goalscorer market and he has the tendency to pop up in the right places at the right time. He is available at 11/2 to net the opener with our selection Nicke Kambamba not far behind in the betting at 6/1.
