Houston Dynamo really are difficult to catch right. They have won just two of their last ten games in all competitions, but they upset the odds with a superb 3-1 win in Ontario last weekend. Toronto FC arrived in great form, but Dynamo set about them, and found the net early in the game. A superb solo goal from Mauro Manotas (his eighth of the season) sealed the victory, and they’ll be hoping to make it back-to-back wins in the MLS. They played in midweek against Club America, and picked up a 1-1 draw at the BBVA Stadium. Houston have the sixth best home form across the two conferences, and they’ll be looking to put on a show for their own fans. They’re undefeated in ten of their eleven home matches, and impressively have only conceded 12 times in 11 outings. Having said that, they conceded three times to LAFC a few weeks ago, and there are still questions over their defensively ability. If they can produce the level of performance which saw them beat the Red Bulls 4-0, then they will be hard to beat.

Seattle Sounders are back on their travels after losing narrowly to rivals Portland Timbers last weekend. The West Coast outfit have played few home matches this season, but that was their first loss at Century Link Field. On their travels, they’ve won just two of ten, with their latest victory coming against Columbus Crew. They’ve shipped eleven goals in their last five away matches, and they are unlikey to keep a clean sheet in this one. They have been better since the return of Raul Ruidiaz, who has hit the ground running, and has netted eight goals in twelve outings this season.

It’s no clean sheet in five for Seattle Sounders, and they showed their fragility last weekend by giving away two goals in the Cascadia Cup. They won 3-2 on their previous visit to this stadium, and there has been at least three goals in each of their last five away games. They do possess firepower, and I expect them to get on the scoresheet. They have conceded the first goal in four of their last five matches, and Houston looked full of confidence going forward at BC Place. Over 2.5 Goals is very short, but if you combine it with Both Teams to Score, it pays 17/20, and that looks a decent option in this game which features two very unpredictable sides.

Mauro Manotas scored an excellent solo goal last weekend, and he looks ripe to repeat the trick this time around. Seven of his eight goals this season for the Dynamo have come at the BBVA, and he will be looking to reach double figures as soon as possible. He is a decent price to find the net anytime in this fixture.
