Kilmarnock vs Rangers Predictions and Betting Tips: Scottish Premiership Preview
Kilmarnock vs Rangers predictions and betting tips for this Scottish Premiership match on Wednesday night with a goals prediction and anytime goalscorer included.
Expert Tipster Prediction: Kilmarnock have been excellent this season under Steve Clarke and they will look to continue that fine run against Rangers on Wednesday night. They may have lost Greg Stewart, who joined Aberdeen on loan this week but Clarke’s men should be able to get something from this match. They’ve won seven of their ten games here this season and been defeated just twice. Only Aberdeen and Hearts have taken something back from this ground this season and I expect Killie to pick up another precious point here against Steven Gerrard’s high-flying side.[inline_advert ad=”1″]
Kilmarnock vs Rangers Predictions
Steve Clarke has been very quick to point out that the signing of Jermaine Defoe is the equivalent of his entire playing squad but despite those budget discrepancies, there is still just a point between these two sides at the top of the Scottish Premiership. It’s been Killie’s home form which has kept them competitive at the top of the table with seven of their twelve victories coming at Rugby Park. This is amongst their hardest assignments and they will be hoping to leapfrog their opponents into second place. They come off the back of four consecutive home victories but it’s going to be difficult against Steven Gerrard’s men. The Ibrox side are on a decent run of form and they’ve strengthened during the transfer window. They haven’t lost on the road since September 30th and they will be difficult to beat. It makes for an even contest and there won’t be much between them. It ended 1-1 when they met on Halloween and I expect another tight 90 minutes here. The Draw is the first of our Kilmarnock vs Rangers betting tips for Wednesday night.

Kilmarnock vs Rangers Betting Tips
Six of Kilmarnock’s ten home games this season have seen both teams get on the scoresheet and although they’ve kept two clean sheets in their last four matches at Rugby Park, I expect Rangers to find the back of the net here. Ranger’s are the second highest away scorers in the division with 15 goals on their travels so far whilst Killie average around 1.90 goals per game at home. These two sides have the highest rate of BTTS in the league with 23 between them and their previous meeting here ended 1-1. August 25th was the last time that the hosts failed to register in front of their own fans whilst Rangers have scored in four of their last five games away from Ibrox. Both Teams to Score is the second of our Kilmarnock vs Rangers predictions.

Greg Stewart’s absence will be felt by the home side. He was joint top-scorer alongside Eammon Brophy and the goalscoring burden will now fall on the striker. He has eight goals to his name this season and I think he can add another one here. He missed several games in late October and early November and therefore didn’t play at Ibrox earlier in the campaign. Many of his goals have arrived on the road this season but he’s netted against Motherwell and Hibs here and I think he can add to his account on Wednesday evening. Eammon Brophy is the third of our Kilmarnock vs Rangers betting tips.

Kilmarnock vs Rangers Match Betting Preview
This is an intriguing match between two sides who are currently in-form and Kilmarnock have the opportunity to leapfrog Rangers this evening. Steven Gerrard’s side have added Steven Davis and Jermaine Defoe to their already talented squad and they are understandably 7/10 favourites for this tie. Kilmarnock are one of the better home sides in the division and they’ve only been defeated twice this campaign, each time by a 1-goal margin. Steve Clarke has done a magnificant job at Rugby Park and his side are a big price for this fixture at 15/4. The draw is the first of our betting tips at 14/5.
Not too many goals are expected in this one with just a 50% chance of Over 2.5 Goals landing here. It is priced at 10/11 but 2-3 Goals Exactly may be a more sensible option at Evens. We like Both Teams to Score? Yes, which is available at 4/5.
Rangers tend to get a lot of corners in their matches and an average of 10.30 are expected here. The odds suggest this game will be corner-heavy and Under 11.5 Corners could be worth backing at 8/13.
Alfredo Morelos is Ranger’s top goalscorer with 12 goals so far and he is the 4/1 favourite to open the scoring here. Eammon Brophy is Kilmarnock’s top goalscorer and is 9/1 to break the deadlock here.
