League One Betting Tip – AFC Wimbledon vs Fleetwood

The first selection for tonight comes from the League One match between AFC Wimbeldon and Fleetwood Town. The hosts sit rock bottom of the League One table and seven points from safety. They need to start picking up results soon and I think they’ll do just that tonight. Home matches such as these are exactly the games they need to be winning going forward.

Fleetwood haven’t won in five matches and are conceding a lot of goals. They’ve recently conceded five against Portsmouth and three against tonight’s opponents in their recent FA Cup clash. Another worry for the Lancashire side is their lack of goals away from home – they’ve only scored two in their last four.

The hosts lost 4-1 at home to Barnsley at the weekend but that was their first home defeat in six matches so we’re hoping they’ll bounce back tonight and get the three points.

League Two Betting Tip – Forest Green vs Grimsby

The second pick from the Football League tonight comes from the match between Forest Green Rovers and Grimsby Town. Forest Green lost for only the second time in nine matches when high flying Bury won 2-1 at The New Lawn on Saturday, however I think they’ll get back to winning ways against a dreadfully out of form Grimsby side tonight.

The Marines have lost their last four matches and alarmingly, haven’t score in any of them. They’re probably far enough from the relegation zone to be dragged in but another two r three defeats will leave them looking over their shoulders. It is hard to see how that run will continue and if you look at Grimsby’s away form, they have scored in their previous six on the road before failing to in their last two.

Forest Green rarely keep a clean sheet, they have only done so once in their last 10 home fixtures, therefore the second of tonight’s football betting tips is for Forest Green to win and both teams to score.
