Bolton vs Wycombe Prediction

Although hampered by a pre-season points deduction, Bolton remain rooted to the bottom of the table and are currently 18 points from safety. Despite their struggles on the road, the Trotters are much stronger at home and have collected the majority of their points in Lancashire.

They have suffered just four defeats here all season, with only two losses coming since mid-October. They keep things relatively tight and have conceded just two goals in their last three outings here.

High-flying Wycombe remain fourth in the table, yet have really struggled on the road in recent weeks. They’ve lost five in a row on the road, although admittedly they’ve been to some tough grounds including Fratton Park, the Stadium of Light and the Kassam.

Worryingly, they have failed to find the net on the road since November 17th and they will be keen to get back to winning ways, no matter how scrappy.

Betting tip for Bolton vs Wycombe – Under 2.5 Goals – 4/5

What score will Bolton vs Wycombe be? 0-0  – 9/1.

Fleetwood vs Peterborough Predictions

Both sides collected three points in midweek, and they’ll be keen to continue their good run of form on Saturday afternoon. Fleetwood are creeping towards the play-offs and come into this fixture searching for a fourth consecutive victory. The Cod Army have suffered just a single defeat all season at Highbury with Ipswich being the only side to leave Lancashire with all three points.

Although they will be without Ched Evans for this contest, they have plenty of firepower to call upon with Paddy Madden in superb form.

Posh are the in-form side in the division and were devastating in the second half against Southend in midweek. They’ve scored four goals in each of their last three matches and have won six matches in a row. The additional of Sammie Szmodics has proven to be a masterstroke and both Ivan Toney and Siriki Dembele look unstoppable at the moment.

The visitors stuck four past Ipswich recently at Portman Road and won’t be perturbed by Fleetwood’s excellent record here.

Betting tip for Fleetwood vs Peterborough – Sammie Szmodics – Anytime Goalscorer – 3/1

What score will Fleetwood vs Peterborough be? 1-2 – 9/1.

Gillingham vs Doncaster Predictions

The Gills were back to winning ways in midweek with a dramatic stoppage time victory over Blackpool. The Kent side are incredibly hard to beat under Steve Evans and haven’t suffered a single defeat since November 23rd.

At home, they’ve won five of their seven and will be tough to break down once again. They’ve conceded just three goals during that run and only four sides have netted more than once at the Priestfield this season.

Doncaster have been excellent in recent weeks, although they still have the tendency to be a little streaky. Darren Moore’s side have already played ten times in 2020, more than any other side in the division and its unsurprising that they have been subject to the occasional blip.

Donny have a 4-4-4 record on the road and are a mixed bag. Despite the form of Niall Ennis, they may just fall short this weekend.

Betting tip for Gills vs Donny – Doncaster Win – 13/10

What score will Gills vs Donny be? 2-1 – 8/1.

Ipswich vs Burton Predictions

Ipswich slipped out of the play-offs in midweek with another defeat. The Tractor Boys are struggling for form and are now winless in four. They’ve suffered eight defeats all season, three of which have arrived since Jan 28th.

Paul Lambert is feeling the pressure and he must find a way of getting his side firing again. With just one goal in their last four matches, and four in their last seven, they look desperately short of firepower.

Burton have had a topsy-turvy campaign, although Nigel Clough’s side are always enjoyable to watch. They are winless in five, yet are unbeaten in four of those. There have been 16 goals in their last three away matches and this contest is likely to follow suit.

They scored twice against leaders Rotherham, and will cause a few problems for the hosts.

Betting tip for Ipswich vs Burton – Over 2.5 Goals – 6/5

What score will Ipswich vs Burton be? 1-2 – 11/1.

Oxford vs Sunderland Predictions

Oxford’s FA Cup exertions were arguably to blame for their collapse at the hands of Posh last weekend. However, the yellows were able to bounce back with a 2-2 draw against Burton in midweek. Their small squad has been a little stretched in recent weeks and they’ve picked up just a single win in their last seven.

Karl Robinson’s side still remain in contention for promotion despite their mini-blip. They’ve failed to keep a clean sheet in six of their last seven L1 matches and that will be a worry for Oxford supporters.

Sunderland are flying and they have climbed into the play-offs. Phil Parkinson took a while to find his feet in Wearside, however, jettisoning Aidan McGeady appears to have lifted the mood around the camp.

They’ve won six of their last eight games in the third tier and look unstoppable on current form.

Betting tip for Oxford vs Sunderland – Sunderland Win – 8/5

What score will Oxford vs Sunderland be? 1-2 – 11/1.

Portsmouth vs Shrewsbury Predictions

Pompey are another in-form side and Kenny Jackett’s men have the best home form in the division. They have climbed into the play-offs as a result and will fancy their chances of challenging for automatic. They’ve conceded just a single goal in their last five outings and that came against an equally in-form Coventry.

Pompey have plenty of creativity in their side and the form of Ronan Curtis has been a significant plus. They are yet to lose at home this season and have kept just three clean sheets in their last four.

Sam Ricketts is under fire from Shrewsbury fans and his side are struggling to pick up points. Despite their FA Cup exploits, they’ve struggled in recent weeks. They’ve netted just once in their last four matches and supporters have bemoaned the manager’s negative tactics.

Betting tip for Pompey vs Shrewsbury – Portsmouth Win – 4/7

What score will Pompey vs Shrewsbury be? 2-0 – 6/1.
