League Two top goalscorer betting tips for the 2016/17 season including a massive 66/1 shot for the market in the fourth tier of England football.
I found plenty of options in League Two, but I’ve narrowed it down to two for my predictions in this market. I have found a player near the top of the betting odds and a bigger odds selection worthy of an each-way bet.
Jack Marriott is still young and still possibly a little raw. He scored 14 times last season for Luton and should improve on that in a much better side this time around. Luton will be amongst the promotion pack and I think Marriott will play a huge part. He’s scored goals at Woking before and seems like a natural finisher.
He was the joint winner of young player of the year and there are high hopes for him in 2016-17. Nathan Jones is a relative unknown in management terms, but there was a definite improvement in the latter half of the season and Marriott should find plenty of chances coming his way.

At a much larger price, I’ve always been a fan of Joe Pigott. He played alongside Marriott last season and the pair were ruthless at times. He’s joined Cambridge after being released by Charlton and I personally think it could be a very profitable move for him.
He’s also scored at League One level and knows many of these sides from the last couple of years.
He’s still only 22 and although he only netted 4 in 15 last season, he wasn’t always a starter. Linking up with Barry Corr could really benefit his game. The two played together briefly at Southend.
