Leicester vs Bournemouth predictions, betting tips and match preview for this weekend’s Premier League fixture. Leicester have now won three of their last four matches and Brendan Rodgers has made a good start. See our football predictions and match preview below.
It has been a good start to life as Leicester City manager for Brendan Rodgers and his sides 2-1 win against Burnley before the international break would have been particularly pleasing because they had 10 men for almost the whole game. That means Harry Maguire is suspended for this clash which will give Bournemouth hope of at least getting on the scoresheet.
Jamie Vardy looks to have refound some form in recent weeks and he had scored four in three before firing a blank against Burnley. James Maddison continues to have a great season for the Foxes too.
Bournemouth are a bit of an enigma this season and they’re currently on a run of just one win in seven (that came against bottom side Huddersfield). They have picked up some impressive results including the 4-0 win over Chelsea but have lost a lot of games, something that will concern Eddie Howe as he starts building for the start of next season this summer. Callum Wilson is fit again and that will be a major boost to the Cherries, but the first of our betting tips is for Rodgers’ Leicester side to pick up another three points in this one.
Jamie Vardy didn’t seem happy when Claude Puel was manager of the club but he has taken his tally to 12 Premier League goals with a run of five in his last six. Three of these have been at the King Power Stadium so he’s the selection for our first goalscorer prediction this weekend. The England man is always decent value to score first because Leicester have other players around him capable of finding the net, such as James Maddison and Demari Grey.
From a Bournemouth point of view, Callum Wilson could be a good anytime goalscorer bet at 21/10 with Unibet and Josh King has also been chipping in with goals throughout the campaign, hes a 13/5 shot with the same firm.
This match looks like it’s a banker for any both teams to score coupon you put on this weekend, largely because of Leicester’s form. They have seen both teams score in their last six matches now and they have won three of the last four of those. Bournemouth’s goalscoring is not as impressive but they have scored in their last two away matches, against Arsenal and Huddersfield.
With this in mind we are predicting a Leicester win here but expecting Bournemouth to get on the scoresheet too, so a 2-1 Leicester victory looks a good bet for our correct score selection. The best odds for this are 8/1 with bet365.
