Friday night’s Championship football will see Leicester and Middlesbrough meet at the King Power Stadium, with both sides pushing for promotion and currently both sitting on 47 points.

Leicester – 1.73/1 with Stan James

Draw – 3.9/1 with Bet Victor

Middlesbrough – 5.25/1 with Bet Victor

The home side go into the game in strong form on the back of four straight victories, averaging over three goals a game. They were rampant against Bristol City on Saturday and in Chris Wood, they possess the in-form striker of the league. His hatrick meant he has now scored six goals in the past three games.  The Foxes recent home record in the league has been indifferent though – just one win in three, including a disappointing draw against struggling Barnsley. They have the second best attack in the league at home too and have only failed to score in one game at the KP. Even more impressively, they enjoy the second best defensive home record too, conceding less than a goal on average each game.

Boro are in a period of real indifference – in their last ten games, they have five wins and five draws and have been struggling to put together a sustained run of results with two recent defeats to Derby and Watford. More worrying for this game, their recent away form in the league has been poor – just four points from the past six away games mean they sit 21st in the table for recent away form. The only victory was achieved against relegation threatened Peterborough.

A win for either side would put them into the automatic promotion places so both sides will be keen for three points. Leicester are strong at home and their potency in front of goal could proved the difference – Middlesbrough have kept just one clean sheet in their past five games. The away side haven’t been involved in a draw for 15 games either.
