New York City FC vs DC United Betting Tips

New York City FC aren’t clicking at the moment and they are going through a sticky patch. After a terrific start to the campaign, they are in danger of falling short in their quest for a top two position in the Eastern Conference. The visitors aren’t great on the road but they have improved significantly in recent weeks with Wayne Rooney spearheading their late season revival. They have drawn four of their last seven games on the road and have only lost narrowly to NYRB and Seattle Sounders both of whom are in excellent form and I think they can get something from this game. The MLS is rife with goals but NYCFC haven’t been scoring freely in their last few games. Their poor form has led to them putting in some poor performances and they’ve only netted twice in their last four matches. DC United are scoring freely and put three past Atlanta United last weekend. They don’t scored as many on the road but I believe they can find a way past this New York City FC defence which appears to be lacking in confidence at the moment. New York City FC may be going through a tough period and they do have a quick turnaround from their midweek defeat but they are still odds-on favourites for this game and can be backed at 3/4 with William Hill.It’s 3/1 for the game to finish all square and with DC United drawing four of their last eight away games, it could be a decent option here.
