Monday Night Football Bet Builder Tips: West Brom v Wolves & Burnley v West Ham

Burnley Attendance

There are two more matches taking place in the Premier League tonight, starting with West Brom vs Wolves at 6pm before Burnley and West Ham kick-off at 8.15pm.

Following the drama at Old Trafford yesterday, there could also be the rearranged Manchester United vs Liverpool fixture kicking off at 3pm on this Bank Holiday Monday.

West Brom are on the brink of relegation and defeat tonight would leave them 11 points from safety with just four matches remaining. Wolves are sat in midtable with nothing left to play for and they were thrashed 4-0 at Burnley last time out, which will give Sam Allardyce some hope of getting the three points in this Midlands derby.

The second game sees high-flying West Ham United travel to Burnley. David Moyes has done a wonderful job with the Hammers this season and they will go back above Tottenham into fifth place in the table with a win. Burnley are down in 16th place but have got 36 points on the board and should be safe in the Premier League for another season. Their 4-0 win against Wolves last week all but confirmed this.

West Brom vs Wolves Bet Builder Tip

West Brom were denied a win by an injury-time Aston Villa equaliser last weekend and they have put up some good performances in recent weeks including a 5-2 win against Chelsea and 3-0 win over Southampton. Matteus Pereira has been influential in these games and he features in our bet builder for tonight.

It is difficult to know which Wolves side is going to turn up given their recent results and with the likes of Raul Jiminez, Pedro Neto and Joao Moutinho all injured, they are certainly weakened in attack.

We could see an open game here with West Brom going for the win and they will be all too aware that Wolves conceded four goals last time out. It could also be a feisty affair in a local derby that isn’t quite a local derby, so the bookings points is another consideration for tonight’s betting tip.

  • Yes – Both teams to Score?
  • Matheus Pereira – Player To Have 2 Or More Shots On Target
  • Adama Traore – Player To Have 1 Or More Shots On Target
  • Over 30 Points – Bookings Odds

ODDS – 24/1 with Paddy Power.

Burnley vs West Ham Bet Builder Tip

It has been a great season for West Ham thus far and they’ll be looking to get another three points on the road to a European spot tonight. The signing of Jesse Lingard has been a master stroke by David Moyes and the loanee will once again feature in tonight’s bet builder tip for the 8.15pm kick-off.

Two defeats in a row for West Ham have probably ended their hopes of finishing in the top four but Burnley are pretty much assured of safety in the Premier League so this will be a good opportunity for the Hammers to get back to winning ways. Chris Wood was in inspired form against Wolves last time out and he will be the main threat for Burnley once again tonight.

Burnley average just 1.3 bookings per game at home this season and West Ham only 1.4 on the road, so going low on the booking points might be a good punt too.

  • Under 30 points – Bookings Odds
  • Jesse Lingard – Anytime Goalscorer
  • Tomas Soucek – Player To Have 1 Or More Shots On Target
  • West Ham – Match Odds
  • Yes – Both teams to Score?

ODDS – 25/1 with Paddy Power.
