Norway vs Bulgaria predictions and Nations League betting tips for Tuesday night’s fixture. Kick-off is 7:45pm on the 16th of October and our tipster has selected three recommended bets.

Norway vs Bulgaria Predictions

Norway continued their fantastic run of form at home when narrowly edging past Slovenia on Saturday. They have not lost in over two years in Ullevaal and it’s six straight victories for Lars Lagerback’s outfit. The former Sweden coach has the best record of any Norwegian manager and will be determined to continue that sequence when his side take on Bulgaria on Tuesday night. They will be determined to exact revenge for a 1-0 defeat in Sofia back in September. Norway have become incredibly difficult to play against and it’s credit to Lagerback’s eye for detail that they have improved markedly over the past couple of years. He has been keeping his cards close to his chest when it comes to formation but he admitted that he may deploy more offensive-minded players in this clash. Their fate is in their own hands here and they cannot afford a slip-up. Lagerback’s defensive woes should be eased with the return of Havard Nordtvelt who was dismissed when these sides met last month. The general consensus was that Norway didn’t play particularly well at the weekend but got away with it and they will need to raise their standards for this encounter. Bulgaria are in decent form coming into this game but their away form is patchy. They did beat Slovenia on the road but they couldn’t squeeze past Luxembourg and were well-beaten in each of their away games during World Cup Qualifying. Norway should be able to continue their winning form here and they can be backed at 7/10 with Bet365 to secure top spot in this group. The hosts are the first of our Norway vs Bulgaria predictions for Tuesday evening.

Norway vs Bulgaria Exact Goals Odds

The second of our Nations League betting tips is from the Under/Over market. Norway build from the back and they keep things tight. Even with a largely makeshift defence on Saturday, they still managed to keep a clean sheet and they could do so again here. Each of the last four matches involving Norway have finished with fewer than three goals and it has also occurred in five of the last six. This is a crucial game for the hosts and they are likely to control matters throughout. Bulgaria do concede goals on the road but they’ve faced some difficult opposition in the last couple of years. Under 2.5 Goals is a very short price here and the price of 8/15 is likely to tempt accumulator bettors however we’re looking elsewhere. 2-3 Goals looks like a more realistic option and is far more attractively priced at 11/10 with Bet Victor. It is the second of our Norway vs Bulgaria predictions.

Norway vs Bulgaria Anytime Goalscorer Odds

Lars Lagerback has singled out Josh King for praise this week. The Bournemouth striker was dropped from the side when the coach arrived with concerns over his work-rate. However, he’s worked hard to get back into the starting XI and he is an integral part of the team. Despite playing a full 90 minutes at the weekend, he is also likely to start again here and he is likely to be on penalty duties once again. He has a decent record at the Ullevaal Stadion and could add another one to his tally here. He scored here against Panama and Azerbaijan and looks a decent option at 13/8 with Betfair to net anytime in this fixture. He is the third of our Norway vs Bulgaria predictions.

Norway vs Bulgaria Match Betting Preview

Norway Win – 7/10

Draw –3/1

Bulgaria Win – 9/2

Norway’s exceptional home record gives them a huge advantage here and the crowd will undoubtedly get behind them. They are priced at 7/10 to come out on top yet again and pick up three points. A victory would secure top spot in the group so their fate is in their own hands. Bulgaria have already beaten Norway once during the Nations League and they will be looking to double up. They are priced at 9/2 to end Norway’s home dominance. The draw will also be popular and it can be backed at 3/1.

Norway have been keeping a number of clean sheets at home and they are 13/10 to win to nil. Both Teams to Score? No is short at 8/15. Bulgaria usually do find the back of the net and Both Teams to Score? Yes might be a more sensible option at 11/8.

Our football tipster has opted for Josh King to find the net at any point and he is also the favourite to score the first goal of the game and can be backed at 10/3. Ole Salnaes grabbed the winner at the weekend and he is 20/1 to score the opener. Stefan Johansen has been in decent form and he is 9/1 to break the deadlock whilst Tarik Elyounoussi will also be popular in the betting at 11/2.
