Norwich vs Manchester City Betting Tips
Manchester City have begun the season in excellent form. They have looked typically deadly in front of goal, averaging a league high 3.5 goals a game so far. Sergio Aguero has hit six in just three starts and should benefit from a rest over the international break. An injury to Aymeric Laporte is far from ideal but City should be able to cope with John Stones taking his place alongside Nicolas Otamendi.
Norwich have impressed many with their start to the season. The Canaries have persisted with the attacking style of play that resulted in promotion to the Premier League last season. Teemu Pukki has adjusted seamlessly to life in the Premier League, notching five times so far. Norwich’s attacking mentality does leave them vulnerable at the back – no team has conceded more times than The Canaries’ 10.
The Canaries have already faced top sides in Liverpool and Chelsea and continued with their favoured style of play so there’s no reason to think the same won’t happen here. Norwich may well score, but City should have no problems in picking apart a wide-open Norwich side.
We’re backing plenty of goals in this game. Norwich’s defeats to Liverpool and Chelsea each involved five goals and Manchester City have already put five past West Ham and four past Brighton. Over 4.5 goals is priced at 13/10.
Sergio Aguero has scored in every match so far and has the addition of penalties to supplement his open play goal scoring threat. The Argentine is priced at 6/10 to score anytime. Kevin de Bruyne has been in excellent form this season and looks good value as another anytime scorer at 2/1.
