Fiorentina sit in tenth and realistically can’t climb into the European spots. Their hopes of making those much-coveted positions in Serie A disappeared as they were thumped 3-1 by Atalanta last weekend. However, they are still in the Coppa Italia, so all hope is not lost. Stefano Pioli’s side have been really entertaining to watch, but their defence has let them down on a number of occasions in recent weeks, and they’ll need to keep things tight here. They haven’t won at home since December 16th, although they have faced Napoli, Sampdoria and Inter during that period, so it isn’t perhaps as alarming as it sounds. Their away form is a little patchy, with just two wins on the road since October 21st, and they may have to do without Ciro Immobile once again. Fiorentina were caught out on several occasions in Bergamo, and there have been an average of 3.08 goals per game in their home matches this season.
