Soligorsk are going well in their domestic league, and were 6-0 winners on Monday night. However, their form in the Belarussian Premier League is in direct contrast to their recent Europa League outing. Today’s hosts were walloped by Italian side Torino in the first leg, carved open throughout the 90 minutes, and they face a massive uphill task back in Minsk. They will be looking to salvage some respect from this second leg, and although only a complete nutter would back them to qualify from this position, they will certainly not be as open this time around. They’ve kept clean sheets in their two previous home legs in this competition, although both Hibernians and Esbjerg did not offer the same threat as Walter Mazzarri’s men are likely to pose. They’ve lost just twice whilst staging games in this competition since 2011, with PSV and Wolfsberger AC leaving with something to show for it. Those two games ended 0-1 and 0-2, and a similar scoreline is likely on Thursday night.

Torino’s campaign is yet to get underway, but last week’s goal-fest suggests that they are reasonably well-prepared for this upcoming campaign. They scored seven times against Hungary’s Debrecen in the previous round, and are likely to find a way of opening up this Soligorsk defence. Mazzarri’s men don’t need to win this, they could choose to settle in for a goalless draw, but I don’t think the former Watford boss will take that approach. Torino will find it harder to breach Soligorsk this time around, but the cramped odds suggest that the Italians will win this game. Torino only made it into this competition due to AC Milan’s suspension, and fans are confident of another positive showing here. Their last couple of seasons in the Italian top flight have been bitterly disappointing, but they look set for a very strong campaign based on the limited evidence that we’ve seen.

Torino are a very short price here, and they should get the job done. They travel to Stadyen Dynama with a comfortable lead, and they should be able to play with a certain amount of freedom. They will find the hosts harder to break down this time around, and are likely to settle for a 2-0 or 3-0 scoreline. Soligorsk didn’t provide much of a threat in the first leg, and although they should offer more this time around, they could struggle to breach the Torino back-line. Torino Win and Under 4.5 Goals looks like the best option in this one at an odds-against price.

There have been a number of different goalscorers for Torino in their Europa League journey so far, but Andrea Belotti has found the net in all three games. He’s also likely to be on penalty duty throughout this season, and at Evens is worth backing on Thursday night.
