Viking FK vs Arsenal Predictions, Betting Tips and Preview
Arsenal will play at the Viking Stadion to take on Viking FK on Friday night which is scheduled for a 19:30 kick off and our betting preview includes three predictions.
Arsenal continue their pre-season preparations this week with a trip to Norway to face Viking FK and in the betting odds Arsenal are overwhelming favourites at odds of 1/4 to get the win.
Viking FK vs Arsenal Preview
Viking FK are a team from Norway who currently sit seventh in the top division coming towards the half way stage of the season. They’ve gone three games without a win and it’s probably not the most ideal time to be taking on a world class team such as Arsenal. However, it’s not every week the players get this opportunity and they could definitely treat this as a cup final and play out of their skin.
Three friendlies so far for Arsenal have seen them unbeaten with two wins and a draw. I’m sure Arsenal will be expecting another win from this one as they take on another particually weak side compared to the Arsenal team that have been playing over the last few weeks. As the season becomes ever closer I’m sure it’s time to get some of the stronger players some game time.
Viking FK vs Arsenal Predictions
As I mentioned earlier Arsenal may have been giving the younger players or the new players an opportunity in the first few friendlies but with the season coming ever closer it’s time to get the big guns some consistent game time to be sharp on Premier League match day one against Liverpool. I think a strong side will be fielded against Viking and it will be too much for them to handle.
My first football prediction for Viking FK vs Arsenal is going to be Arsenal to win -2 handicap. I have chosen this selection to add more value to my choice as Arsenal are the big favourites. The best odds for this are currently 9/5 at Stan James.

The Ox has been in fine form so far this pre-season with plenty of game time and even the odd goal including a very good solo effort last game but also an incredible chip in the first pre-season game. I think it’s hard to drop a player in this sort of form and he be in the Arsenal starting line-up again on Friday and will continue to shine with the confidence he currently has.
My second Viking v Arsenal prediction for this one is going to be Oxlade-Chamberlain to score at any time. I can imagine that he will get another good run out to continue to prove himself and be in the starting 11 against Liverpool in a couple of weeks. The best odds for this are currently
Alex Oxlaide-Chamberlain anytime goalscorer –
My final Viking v Arsenal betting tip is going to be a correct score prediction of Arsenal to win 3-0. I think it will be a convincing win for the Gunners as they have one more game against Manchester City before starting the Premier League season. I’m sure they will want to win the City game even though it is a friendly so a convincing win here will do the confidence no harm. The best odds for this are currently 13/2 with Sky Bet.
