Brighton vs Liverpool Betting Preview: Predictions, Betting Tips and Enhanced Odds
Brighton vs Liverpool Predictions
Liverpool may have taken their collective foot off the gas but they got back to winning ways against Aston Villa.
Brighton look safe after a solid restart has taken them up to fifteenth. Liverpool bounced back from their 4-0 thrashing with a 2-0 win over Villa.
Understandably, Liverpool haven’t been at their best since securing the Premier League title. They eventually found a way through against Aston Villa but Brighton will pose a tougher test so I’m predicting a low scoring match tonight and a 0-0 correct score prediction at 12/1 could be a good bet.
Brighton Form
Brighton’s solid restart has taken them clear of the relegation zone with just five left to play. The Seagulls picked up points against Arsenal, Leicester, and most recently, Norwich to put clear daylight between them and the bottom three.
Graham Potter’s side have lost just one game from their previous eight in the league. Those games have established a pattern of few goals – only three of the last nine have featured over 2.5 goals.
Brighton’s record against top-six sides isn’t the best. The Seagulls have picked up four draws from nine games, losing the other six. Their most recent top-six fixture saw them lose 3-0 to Manchester United.
Brighton have no new injuries or suspensions to report at the time of writing.
Liverpool Form
Liverpool’s recent form hasn’t quite hit the same levels expected of them this season. The Reds have only picked up two wins from their last six league games, conceding eight and scoring eight.
Over the course of the season, Liverpool have the best defensive record, conceding 25 in 33 and keeping the most clean sheets. Only Manchester City have outscored the Reds with 70 in 33.
One of Liverpool’s two defeats came against a bottom-six side when they lost 3-0 to Watford back in February.
Joel Matip, Dejan Lovren, and James Milner are injury doubts.
Brighton vs Liverpool Head to Head
Brighton have won four, drawn eight, and lost 18 to Liverpool. The Reds have won each of the last eight encounters.
Brighton vs Liverpool Betting Odds

Brighton are as good as safe and will dig deep to earn a point against a side with no pressure on them. It may just be enough for the Seagulls.

Liverpool to win and BTTS – 12/5
Was 15/8
After winning the Premier League title Liverpool have taken their foot off the gas a little, and Brighton could well get on the scoresheet tonight with home advantage. The Seagulls beat Arsenal at the AMEX in the first game back and Liverpool conceded four in their last away match against Man City.
Salah to score 2 or more goals – 11/2
Was 9/2
The winger is five goals behind Jamie Vardy in the Golden Boot race now so looks unlikely to catch him, however a couple of goals tonight would take him right back into contention. He’s already scored 17 goals in the Premier League this season and it would be no surprise to see him add to that tonight.
Neal Maupay to score & Brighton to win – 8/1
Was 11/2
If you are predicting a shock Brighton win in this match tonight, this scorer and win bet could be a good option. Maupay scored the winner against Arsenal recently and has got nine goals this season.
Alexander-Arnold to score & Liverpool to win – 9/1
Was 6/1
The last score and win enhanced odds offer for Brighton vs Liverpool is a lively outsider. You can get 9/1 for Trent Alexander-Arnold to score and Liverpool to win in tonight’s match at Brighton and if he starts this match this is a good bet for a small stake. He’s the free-kick taker and recently scored one against Crystal Palace.
