Fulham vs Brighton Predictions and Betting Tips: Premier League Preview
Fulham vs Brighton predictions and betting tips for this midweek Premier League fixture on Tuesday 29th January with an anytime goalscorer tip and goals prediction included.
Fulham’s miserable season continued last weekend as they conceded late against Spurs and they will be desperate for points when they host Brighton on Tuesday night. The Seagulls can be a bit of soft touch on the road but their games are generally tight and they won’t allow Fulham many opportunities in this encounter. It could be a nervy Tuesday night for the home fans in West London and the home faithful could end up frustrated yet again. See our Fulham vs Brighton predictions below.[inline_advert ad=”1″] [global_advert id=”37950″]
Fulham vs Brighton Predictions
Fulham are in danger of getting cut adrift at the bottom of the table and they need three points from this midweek fixture. It looks like the ideal chance to claim a valuable win but it’s hard to trust the Cottagers. They’ve definitely become tougher under Claudio Ranieri but old habits die hard and they often concede soft or avoidable goals. They have scored once in each of their last five outings and they held Spurs at bay for large swathes of the game here on 20th January but I can’t back them here. They’ve beaten Huddersfield, Burnley and Southampton here but none of those ties were particularly straightforward and despite their dodgy away form, I think Brighton will make it tough for their hosts. Hughton’s men have lost eight of 12 games on the road but they have already visited Old Trafford, Anfield and the Etihad Stadium. They picked up points against Southampton, Huddersfield, Newcastle and West Ham and I think they can leave with another point here. Draw looks like the best option in this Tuesday night fixture and it’s the first of our Fulham vs Brighton predictions.
Fulham vs Brighton Both Teams to Score Tips
Six of Brighton’s twelve away games this season have seen both sides find the back of the net and I expect this one to go the same way. The Seagull’s scored in the second half against Manchester United last weekend and made things uncomfortable for Solskjaer’s men and they have enough firepower to find the back of the net once again. The hosts have netted in all but three home games this season and although they’ve been keeping things tighter of late, I still expect at least a couple of goals in this tie. BTTS has landed in four of their last five meetings and I suspect that pattern may continue here. Both Teams to Score? Yes is the second of our Fulham vs Brighton betting tips for this midweek match-up.
Fulham vs Brighton Anytime Goalscorer Prediction
This game is the kind of fixture which may appear towards the end of midweek Match of the Day and it could be settled by a scruffy goal, potentially from a set-piece situation. With neither side having a reliable marksman of late, It could be best to back one of Brighton’s centre-backs to nod home in this one. Shane Duffy has netted four times this season with three of those strikes coming away from home. The defender has netted at Southampton, Huddersfield and West Ham this season and this could be the type of scrappy game that he will relish. Shane Duffy to score anytime is the third of our Fulham vs Brighton betting tips for Tuesday night.
Fulham vs Brighton Match Betting Preview
Fulham start this game as favourites and can be backed at 7/5 for success. Our betting tips begin with a draw and it’s 9/4 for the game to end level once again. Brighton have been chalked up as outsiders and can be backed at 23/10 for a rare away win.
It’s 19/20 for Both Teams to Score? Yes in this game whilst it’s 4/5 for one of the pair to keep a clean sheet in this one.
Aleksandar Mitrovic is the favourite in the first goalscorer market and can be backed at 5/1 to net the opener in this game. Glenn Murray is priced at 11/2 to break the deadlock. Florin Andone is off the mark for Brighton and is also 11/2 to score the first of the game.
