Huddersfield vs Everton Predictions, Betting Tips and Preview: Premier League

Huddersfield predictions

Huddersfield vs Everton predictions and betting tips for the Premier League fixture on Tuesday 29th January. Rock bottom Huddersfield need to pick up points and a match against an out of form Everton could be just the type of game they need.

Marco Silva saw his side dumped out of the FA Cup at Millwall on Saturday evening because of three goals from set-pieces. Huddersfield will have taken notice of this and under their new manager, they could get a result against the Merseysiders. See our Huddersfield vs Everton predictions below.

Huddersfield vs Everton Predictions

The hosts have got a new manager in charge in the form of Jan Siewert and they will be hoping he can transform the teams fortunes after a tough first half of the campaign. They are bottom of the Premier League and need a miracle to survive in the top flight, however we’re siding with the hosts for this match for a couple of reasons. Firstly, the new manager might just bring a new lease of life into the club and the fans will be right up for this game despite just 10 defeats and a draw in their last 11 matches.

Everton come into this off the back of a really poor 3-2 defeat at Millwall in the FA Cup and Silva played his strongest team in that match, so tired legs might be an issue for the Blues. They are in really poor form themselves, losing three of their last four Premier League matches and away from home they have won just twice all season. Take a chance of Huddersfield winning this match but use the draw no bet market, this means if Huddersfield win your bet is a winner at 2/1, but if it is a draw you get the cost of your bet returned to you.

Huddersfield vs Everton Anytime Goalscorer Prediction

For our anytime goalscorer predictions, we want to have a punt on a Huddersfield defender getting on the scoresheet, for the reason that Everton are dreadful at defending set pieces. This all came to light once again at the weekend but it has been a constant menace for Everton all season. If Huddersfield are to score they should be piling into the Everton box for corners and free-kicks, and ensuring Joran Pickford can’t get out to crosses. We’d advise betting on both Huddersfield centre backs in the anytime goalscorer market for our Huddersfield vs Everton predictions this week, and Christopher Schindler is one of those, he’s 20/1 with Sportingbet to score in the match (as short as 10/1 elsewhere).

Huddersfield vs Everton Total Goals Prediction

With a match like this – new manager against a team out of form, it is always tough to predict what will happen, but we’re taking the view that the new Huddersfield manager will want to try and keep a clean sheet first and foremost, meaning limiting Everton to chances. If this is the case then a bet on under 1.5 goals being scored could be a good way to go about things.

Hudderfield never score many goals and even though Everton did put five past Burnley on Boxing Day, they have failed to score at Brighton recently and at home to Leicester. Under 1.5 goals rounds off our Huddersfield vs Everton predictions for this week’s Premier League fixture.
