Sheffield United vs Tottenham Predictions
A loss for either side could end their hopes of Champions League qualification.
Sheffield United are ninth, eight adrift of Manchester United at the time of writing. Tottenham are currently seventh, one point ahead of the Blades.
Sheffield United have struggled since the restart and could be without key defender Jack O’Connell once more. Tottenham have restarted reasonably well but are yet to hit top gear.
A narrow Spurs win looks likely for our football betting tips, particularly if O’Connell is ruled out once again.

Sheffield United Form
Sheffield United haven’t quite got going since the restart. The Blades have taken just one point from three games, failing to score in any. Chris Wilder’s side have lost 3-0 in back-to-back league games as well as suffering a 2-1 defeat to Arsenal in the FA Cup Quarter Final.
The Blades have a poor record against sides above them in the table this season. They have won just one of their 11 fixtures against the top eight. Their only victory came against Burnley. Sheffield United have failed to score in five of those 11 matches.
Jack O’Connell is yet to feature since the restart and remains an injury doubt. John Lundstram has picked up a knock as is also a doubt.
Tottenham are unbeaten in their two games since the restart and have the benefit of an extended break between their last competitive game and this one. Spurs have picked up four points from games against Manchester United and West Ham in June.
A clean sheet against West Ham was just their fifth of the league season. They have now lost only two of the last nine Premier League games. Each of their last three games have featured fewer than 2.5 goals.
Their record against top-half teams has been mixed at best, with three wins, five draws, and seven defeats. They drew their reverse fixture with Sheffield United 1-1.
Japhet Tanganga remains sidelined with a back injury.
Sheffield United vs Tottenham Head to Head

- Sheffield United have not won any of their four competitive matches since the restart
- Tottenham are unbeaten in their last three
- Sheffield United have averaged less than one goal a game
