Cheltenham 2023 Ante-post Tips - A Recap of Ciaran's Live Chances

Over the last 20 weeks we have had two ante-post Cheltenham tipsters giving us a selection per week and now is the time to see how they have gone as we edge closer to the start of the 2023 Cheltenham Festival. As is the way with ante-post punting, there are a few selections that won’t even make Cheltenham and one or two which look more unlikely to win now than they did at the time of the tip. We have removed the losing bets from Ciaran’s tips over the last 20 tips but there are still 13 live chances that should run at Cheltenham. There have been seven losers scratched off from the 20 selections, with them not being declared to run in the race selected. A couple of the picks have drifted in the betting with Facile Mode being the biggest disappointment after a poor run at the Dublin Racing Festival and it remains to be seen whether it runs in the Bumper. Of the other selections, Salvador Ziggy looks to have a great chance in the Pertemps and was tipped at 25/1 and Galvin has seen support into 9/4 after apparently schooling really well over the Cross Country course. Tekao has halved in price for the Boodles to 4/1 since being tipped and Ashroe Diamond is now around 7/2 for the Mares Novice after being tipped up at 9/1.
