13.50 Newmarket

First up we have the Price Promise At bet365 Handicap and Presidential is currently the market betting favourite for this race at 8/1. He had a poor 2019 but has come back since the restart of racing with a victory at Doncaster over 7f and he had a good 6th place in the Silver Royal Hunt Cup at Ascot. He will be looking to carry forward this form here and mount a challenge as he is dropping back in trip. De Vegas Kid is down to 9st who was a three-time 7f/1m winner last summer, he was 7th when last seen over four months ago at Kempton. With Cieren Fallon booked on board he will be looking to recapture last year’s form. My selection is an E/W bet on GLENN COCO, trained by Stuart Williams with Oisin Murphy on board who was jockey when he last won here in 2019, he hasn’t won in 11 runs but now being back on a good mark 9st he’s worth a punt as an outsider at 14/1. Fighting Temeraire is C&D winner and has won 2 out of his 4 runs on AW so he is respected here. Human Nature is one who will look to put his name in the ring, but needs to show his form back on turf.

14.05 Market Rasen

My selection in the Betway Summer Handicap Hurdle (GBB Race) is DINO VELVET who is a winner over C&D here in the past and he is a useful Hurdler. He was third when last seen at Southwell 9 days ago. He will be hoping for a quick pace to attack. Caius Marcius is a C&D winner here and will try and use his latest run on the flat at Newcastle as a marker for fitness. Ones to watch in the market are Red Force One, Highly Priced and Fair Mountain. This looks to be another fairly hard race to pick from.

14.25 Newmarket

DANDALLA is looking to complete a hat trick here in the Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes (Fillies’ Group2) (Sponsored By bet365). She was a winner and a previous tip of mine at Royal Ascot when I tipped her at 10/1 in the Albany Stakes. She was brilliant in that and was placed, but it cant be taken away that this is the horse to beat in this race. More Beautiful was poor when last seen at Ascot and was joint favourite that day when finishing 9th of 18 in the Queen Mary Stakes. The half Sister to the 2000 Guineas winner Saxon Warrior will be suited to the extra furlong and will look to prove people wrong here by the performance last time out. C&D winner TimeScale is the one to watch for against DANDALLA who won here last time out 12 days ago beating Concessions by 4L. She is one who will keep progressing and with Oisin Murphy booked again, she ticks a lot of boxes as well.

14.40 Market Rasen

The Betway Summer Plate Handicap Chase has 17 runners and you could pick several who holds claims here. With some bookies paying up to 5 places, I will be tipping an each-way bet. MORE BUCKS  is a winner of this race back in 2018 and should show more but he is 3lb lighter this time around and at 20/1 I feel that this bet has value with 5 places. There are better runners than him but he’s done it before and knows the script so why would you not take a gamble.

Royal Villiage was second here last year and is one to watch for as he set up for another productive season for Ian Williams. Top weight San Benedetto is a classy horse and will need to be on top form here and will hope to have blown away the cobwebs after a few lower finishes. Bags Groove, Solomon Grey and Lough Derg Spirit will look to improve also.

15.00 Newmarket

My selection is the bet365 Trophy (Heritage Handicap) was one of the 4 runners Mark Johnston but Star of the East is now a non-runner. Last year’s winner for Mark Johnston, Kings Advice, is top weight and has struggled so far since his run of 8 wins from his first nine starts for him. But connections will know what is needed to challenge again. Holy Kingdom has won twice here this season and doesn’t look to be the finished article and will look to mount a serious challenge. Others to watch out for in the market betting are Themaxwecan and CHRISTOPHER WOOD could be worth an each-way bet for Paul Nicholls.

15.35 Newmarket

My second last betting tip for the ITV Racing is running in the bet365 Handicap Stakes (Class 2) (Heritage Handicap) and is a horse who was unlucky in the King George V Stakes over 1m4f when last seen 23 days ago, second to Hukum. That Horse is KIPPS. He is wearing blinkers for the first time in a bid to get his second win under his connections belt. He has Ryan Moore on board and is carrying 8st 10lbs so there is a lot to like.  Enemy finished well to stay on 4th in the Britannia at Ascot last month and he will be looking to get back to winning ways for John Gosden. Global Storm will be looking for a quick pace throughout to help him here.

16.10 Newmarket

My last selection today comes in The Tattersalls Falmouth Stakes (Group 1) (British Champions Series) over 1m.

In the big race of the day and the final race at Newmarket, my tip is the current market favourite for this race. That is TEREBELLUM, trained by John Gosden and ridden by Frankie Dettori. She is a 3 time winner over 1m 2f and she was beaten by a head in the Queen Anne Stakes at Ascot last month when beaten by Circus Maximus. She is a progressive type and I believe she can win her first Group 1 here against her own sex. Last years runner up, One Master will look to go one better but will need to be near her best. Magic Wand would prefer it to be longer the trip and slightly quicker, she was a good 4th to Ghaiyyath last Sunday. Stablemate to TEREBELLUM, Nazeef is a horse who deserves her spot here and will look to get involved but this will be her biggest test yet.
