It’s Not Rocket Science with MansionBet Novice Stakes (Div 1) 1m – 12.15.

Tsar claimed victory last time out at Newcastle at 1m in October but didn’t make it pretty by doing so. With a 7lb penalty this time around, Tsar will need to up the ante if he wants to take his second victory but he is an unfinished article so he is definitely one to keep tabs on.

LORD CAMPARI is the son of Kingman who showed promise when 6th of 12 to Palace Pier in a strong field at Sandown. He will stay 1m and is sure to get involved here. He is carrying 9st 2lbs and should make the weight difference count here and my tip here is LORD CAMPARI to win.

One to watch on debut – King Fairy.

Watch and Bet with MansionBet At Newbury Handicap 1m – 12.45

Current Market favourite for the race is FORTUNE AND GLORY at 7/2 with William Hill. He is a C&D winner who picked up where he left off at Lingfield 8 days ago when winning.

Latent Heat is one to watch in my eyes, who won on his 4th start for A W Carroll at Wolverhampton in March at 7f. He was a close 3rd at Kempton over 1m later that month and will be one looking to mount a challenge to FORTUNE AND GLORY. Also keep an eye on the market betting for Shelia’s showcase who is another C&D around here in 2018. He was winless last year but has Ryan Moore on board which is an interesting booking.

My tip for this race is FORTUNE AND GLORY to win.

MansionBet Proud to Support British Racing Handicap 1m 2f- 13.15

The current favourite for this race is Employer (5/1 with William Hill) trained by Dr R D P Newland and ridden by Andrea Atzani, who is having his first run for his new stable who has had mixed form of late. A market check will be needed as I think his odds will increase.

Edmond Dantes will be one to follow who was a winner at Goodwood last June and ran a strong 3rd off 11 in a handicap at Yarmouth 7 months ago. He will be a contender if he comes in the right mind set.

SINGING SHERIFF has been in good form this year with 1 win and two second when winning at Wolverhampton. He is a little unknown on turf but with his form on the All-Weather I think he will be a leading player for the race and I am backing him to deliver here with the victory.

Ones to watch in the market are Torrolight and The Game Is On.

It’s Not Rocket Science with MansionBet Handicap 1m 2f – 13.50

In a race where all five runners all have a chance realistically. It is tough to separate a leading contender but I am picking IT’S GOOD TO LAUGH. A one-time winner who was unlucky last time when 2nd to Global Storm at Newmarket 7 months ago. He has been Gelded since and with the young Tom Marquand on board this horse has more to offer.

Man of the Night is one to check in the market as his odds are dropping.

Watch and Bet with MansionBet At Newbury Maggie Dickson Fillies’ Stakes (listed) 7f – 14.25

FARZEEN the daughter of Farhh has placed in two and won 2 of her 5 runs and has been successful at 7f on the AW and Good ground. She was well beaten when last seen at Newmarket over 6f (soft) in October when 10th of 15. She appears to have 7f in mind and has the potential to be a better 4-year-old so I am tipping her E/W as she is currently 7/1 in the market betting with bet365.

Preening is another to watch, a 3-time winner from 7f to 1m on good to firm ground and on the All-Weather. She was a winner at Deauville over 7f in December when beating California Love by 3/4L.

If you want a bigger E/W tip then Dancing Feet currently 11/1 with Ladbrokes is looking for her hat-trick and is currently 2 out of 2 for trainer Archie Watson. With the booking of the exciting Hollie Doyle they will need to up the performance again to challenge at the winner’s post.

British Stallion Studs EBF/ MansionBet Abingdon Fillies’ Stakes (Listed) 1m 2f – 15.00

Currently leading the Newbury market betting for the race is CABALETTA trained by R Varian with Ryan Moore who was a winner at 6/1 at Yarmouth over 1m beating the highly-rated Frankly Darling by 1L. She is tipped to make an impact and I feel she is the one to beat here.

Shatha is one to watch in the betting market as she was a winner at 66/1 at Kempton over 1m 2f earlier this month and will be fresh from that run.

Market movers

Oriental Mystique from 10/1 to 11/2

Onassis- 40/1 to 33/1

Royal nation- 20/1 to 16/1

I expect these to still come down over night.

MansionBet’s Beaten by A Head Diomed Stakes (group 3)- 1m- 15.35

My tip for this race is ZAAKI, the reasons are that the horse has a brilliant record when fresh and was the winner of this race at Epsom Last year and added another group 3 win at York in August and with his trainer Sir Michael Stoute in great form. So, for me he is my pick.

Marie’s Diamond was outstanding when winning at Newmarket 8 days ago when seeing the rest of the field by a distance of 4 1/4l but this race is a tougher test but certainly one to keep an eye on.

King of comedy will look to get involved in the run-in and Tabarrak.

It’s Not Rocket Science With MansionBet Novice Stakes (Div 2) 1m- 16.10

NASRAAWY is a horse with a good family pedigree making his debut here and on paper has a lot of things that tick the boxes including the $725,000 he brings with him. With Jim Crowley on board and John Gosden training him you feel this horse is in experienced hands and will be involved.

Another debutant to watch out for is Russian Virtue who has a good pedigree and with Ryan Moore on board he is one to look at in the market.

Of the experienced runners I expect Southern Dancer to get involved, third on debut at Sandown in September. He should build on his first run and will be ready to turn up here.

MansionBet’s Royal Ascot Special Handicap 1m- 16.45

The last race at Newbury for the weekend brings up a 22/1 each-way tip currently with William Hill. That tip is for the beautifully named SNOW OCEAN, who hit the ground running when a dual AW winner in the winter but has went off the boil in his last two races but is weighted to go well and is going over a trip suited for him. At 22/1 he is a strong E/W bet and that’s why I am backing him after tipping a 25/1 and a 18/1 in quick succession recently.

One to watch in the Newbury market betting is my fellow Scotsman the Loch Ness Monster trained by Michael Appleby with Tom Marquand on board. A winner at 6f on good ground and is wearing blinkers for the first time and the reason for that I believe is for the poor run at Newmarket 8 days ago. But connections will hope that he has got the bad run out of the system.

Blue cap will be one to watch in the market currently at 11/1 with William Hill.
