Newmarket Horse Racing Tips Today
Here at thatsagoal.com, we not only offer our free football betting tips, but our racing tips will also cover all of the UK and Irish meetings and you will find our up to date Newmarket racing tips featuring the 2000 Guineas, 1000 Guineas and July meeting.
Newmarket is known as ‘HQ’ to racing fans because it is considered to be the epicentre of the British flat racing scene. That means they have some fantastic meetings every year and the course holds the first two Classics of the season – the 2000 and 1000 Guineas.
When today’s Newmarket horse racing tips are ready you will find them at the top of this page and we will also include a race preview of the featured races on the card such as Group or Listed races, to give you an insight into what our tipster’s thoughts are on that particular race. You can then decide whether to follow our betting tips for the big races or pick your own horses.
The research we have put into each race will help you decide which horse to bet on and we will often take a close look at the favourite to see if they are worthy of their place at the top of the market or should be opposed.
Newmarket Races Fixtures
Newmarket’s most well-known meeting comes right at the start of the flat season when the best three-year-olds descend on Racing HQ for the 200 Guineas on Saturday and the 1000 Guineas on Sunday. There is also the Newmarket July meeting which is at the height of the UK summer and showcases some brilliant races for us to get our teeth into and pick out some betting tips. The disrupted schedule means the meetings in the early part of the 2020 flat season have been cancelled or rearranged but we still have some exciting Newmarket fixtures to look forward to.
Despite Newmarket cancelling all their July and August fixtures for 2020 amid the Coronavirus chaos, horse racing is now looking to rearrange a lot of fixtures and focus on running some of the best flat races in a short period of time.
This all kicks-off with the 2000 and 1000 Guineas which are scheduled for the first weekend in June. We have already lost the Craven meeting at HQ but there are four days of top class action for the delayed Guineas weekend.
The Cambridgeshire meeting is still scheduled to take place in September, another big focus of our Newmarket betting tips because of the size of the field. Over 30 runners will go to post for one of Britain’s best and most famous handicaps and this race is always a massive punting heat, especially for each-way players.
Future Champions Day rounds off the Group 1 fixtures at Newmarket with the Sun Chariot Stakes taking centre stage. This is a meeting where we are likely to see some of the best 2-year-olds on the planet go head to head before their Classic seasons.
Newmarket Tips for the Guineas
There are few better race meetings in the British calendar than Guineas weekend and we will be bursting at the seams with our 2000 and 1000 Guineas betting tips. These two races feature the best 3-year-old turf milers in the world and we often see foreign raiders come and try to take the price. There is often one or two high calibre horses from France and they always have to be taken seriously when picking our Guineas betting tips.
There have been some sensational winners of the 2000 Guineas in the past including Sea The Stars, George Washington and Camelot, but none more impressive than wonder horse Frankel, who demolished the field in the 2011 renewal.
Watch Frankel’s 2000 Guineas demolition below:
Keep up to date with all our 1000 and 2000 Guineas tips on this page and hopefully, we can find you some winners as you watch the Group 1 action in the first two Classics of the season.
