Thursday’s Horse Racing Tips – 5 Best Bets from Uttoxeter
After two winners, a void, a second and a third on yesterday’s racing tips, Henry is back with five more selections for today’s racing and all five selections come from Uttoxeter. See the tips below and reasons for each selection

The first selection comes in the second race from Uttoxeter in what looks a pretty wide-open handicap hurdle.
The one for me here is JESSICA RABBIT (11/4) who ran a decent race last time out leading approaching the home straight before weakening into 5th. I’m hopeful Jessica Rabbit will come on for that run and this race doesn’t appear as strong as that one last time out in my eyes.
The next selection comes in the class 5 handicap hurdle at 2:40.
The one I like here is LEMON SHOULDER NAP (7/4) for the team of Harry and Dan Skelton. The pair are very good round this track and have had 3 winners from 11 runners here operating at a +12.50 to a £1 stake strike rate. Lemon Shoulder ran a solid comeback run at Newton Abbot last time finishing third and again I feel he will come on for that run. He is fairly unexposed and should be the best of this lot.
The 2:40 race is a 2m Class 4 handicap hurdle and it appears a decent little race for a Class 4 on paper.
I like GET BACK GET BACK NB (7/2) here for the Harry Fry team. This horse ran like the best in the race over course and distance last time out but just faltered towards the finish. He ran very keen there which proved to be his undoing. I’m hoping that comeback run has took the freshness out of him and he’ll settle better here. He certainly has the ability to be winning this and compensation awaits for last time out.
The 3:10 race is the best race on the card and it’s a 2m4f handicap chase Class 3 contest.
I like LOVATO (6/1) here for the Dr Richard Newland team. They are flying at the moment with a 24%-win ratio in the last 14 days. This horse won well first time out last season so the break will have done him no harm whatsoever. LOVATO is a Course and Distance winner who I expect to go close again here.
My final selection comes in the 4:10 contest which is a class 5 handicap over 3m.
I like THE HAPPY CHAPPY (9/4) here. There was a huge market move for his last time out but he could only manage second staying on strongly in the home straight. He jumped well there and a repeat of that effort could well be enough for a race victory here. Bryony Frost takes the reigns again and she’s full of confidence after a good winner on Tuesday.
