Tonight’s Breeders Cup Tips and Predictions for a Lucky 15
The Breeders Cup action kicks off Stateside tonight and Ant has looked through the card and picked out four bets which would fit perfectly into an each-way lucky 15 tip across four of the races.
The first race previewed is the 7.30pm before races at 8.10pm, 8.50pm and 9.30pm. At the current odds, an each-way bet is advised if you are backing the multiples.
See the Breeders Cup tips for tonight below, as well as some free bet offers to use on the action.

Last years winning trainer Wesley Ward has another strong hand here led by Golden Pal, who ran a screamer under Andrea Atzeni in the Norfolk at Ascot only to be collared late on by the Lir Jet and is clearly a speedy and well thought of Juvenile. The obvious concern is with the draw here being stuck out wide as usually races prominently so concern would be exuding too much energy to grab the lead and vulnerable to being picked off late, I also have question marks if the form justifies him being this short in a trappy affair.
My selection also hasn’t been helped with the draw admittedly however happy to chance it at a larger price rather than taking the prohibitive odds on the Ward runner, the selection in question is Second of July E/W (14/1) who sprang a surprise on debut when defying odds of 68/1 he proved there was no fluke about this when he followed up in a grade 3 where he had a couple of these in behind including the other Ward charge after 5 who is prominent in the betting.
I feel given he is not from the biggest of yards and he has went off at decent odds in his 2 wins that he has went under the radar in the market and at a bets price of 14/1 I am willing to have a speculative each way bet and hope we run into a place here.

Again will side with the Americans here, and another long shot Fire At Will E/W 16/1 for trainer Michael Maker, won the G2 Pilgrim comfortably in his last start admittedly got an easy time of it upfront, but was holding the re-opposing Public Sector comfortably an put it away with a couple of taps of the stick from the jockey and not asked any serious questions.
Obviously, the selection is in deeper waters here and won’t have it all his own way but won from off the pace on debut in the slop so is versatile and doesn’t necessarily need to be prominent, could well run into a place at big odds on the highlight of day 1 for me. European contingent have to be respected here

This can go to Vequist 6/1 who absolutely routed her opponents on her penultimate start in the grade 1 Spinaway Stakes at Saratoga she justified connections faith in pitching her to grade 1 company on her second start by powering clear by the best part of 10 lengths.
I expect her to turn around form with the re-opposing dayoutoftheoffice who got the better of her in a messy race previously. The Bob Baffert horse could be anything but hasn’t really done much on the clock so happy to take my chances backing against it here.
21.30 Keeneland
I’m siding with the Royal Ascot winner Campanelle, won the Queen Mary whilst it was not the strongest of renewals she was well on top and front 2 pulled clear of the rest. The Wesley Ward charge then went to France where she took out the Group 1 Morny and it was the way she galloped all the way to the line in rain-softened French ground and pulled away in good style that gives me confidence that she will get the extra distance. Aunt Pearl will ensure this is going to be ran at a good clip but is a danger she could go off too quick leaving herself vulnerable and I am hoping Frankie will have Campanelle prominent just in behind ready to pounce if Aunt Pearl goes off too hard in front. Plum Ali rates the main danger to Campanelle but I’m confident Wesley and Frankie can combine here to get us a Breeders Cup winner.
