Each day you will see horse racing tipsters post a NAP selection. This can be from any horse race, at any meeting. In simple terms, a NAP is the horse that the tipster thinks is the best bet of the day.
The odds for the horse racing NAPs will vary from day to day but they tend to be quite short odds selections and a win bet. Although you will see some people tip up an each-way bet for their nap bet today.
Racing Post: Has improved for the step up to 1m6f in winning two handicaps at Wetherby this season; on a fair mark, 4lb higher than when defying a penalty last time, and there may well be more to come, so leading claims.
The easiest way to put this is to say, if you are only betting on one horse today, it should be this one. Each tipster will probably pick a different NAP and the reasons for picking their selection will be different, but the answer to the question, what is a nap? remains the same. The Nap of the day will be the best bet a tipster could find and each day we will give you our very own horse racing NAP of the day, which you will find at the top of this page.
Our best betting tip for today’s racing will be on this page at around 9am each day. This gives us time to pick the selection and you time to bet on it. Depending on the day of the week will probably depend on how confident we are at winning our horse racing NAP. Some days, such as Saturday, there is a lot more horse racing to choose from, so we have a bigger pool of horses to pick our NAP from.
On the quieter racing days, there might not be as many horses for the NAP selection, so we would advise you proceed with caution on these days.
You would bet on the NAP just like you’d place any other horse racing bet. Simply navigate to your chosen bookmaker and go to the correct race meeting, and race time. From there, selection the horse we have chosen as today’s NAP and add it to your betslip. Then you can choose how much you want to stake on the NAP selection. We’d advise starting off your stakes small, maybe £5 or £10, and once you are used to the way NAPS’s work, you can up your stake if you wish. There will also be a full write-up of our horse NAP in our horse racing tips section of the site. Which will also provide you with lucky 15s, accumulators and through the card betting tips for big meetings.
The best place to find newpapers racing tips would be in the papers themselves, but if you haven’t got them to hand, we will try and put as many daily newspaper NAPs on here as we can. Sometimes when our tipster doesn’t have a strong fancy we will use NAPS from expert tipsters such as Newsboy or Templegate, who are always reliable sources for today’s horse racing tips and naps.
We do. You can find our football bet of the day tips in their own special section. These bets are good to have as a single and you can build your betting balance with them. They will usually be published the day before the fixture kicks-off.
