QPR lost six successive Championship matches later last year, and they could repeat that feat this weekend, having lost their latest five encounters via single goal margins. Rangers have also earned just one point from their last five away outings and now travel the short distance to Griffin Park where hosts Brentford have won their previous three games without conceding a goal. The Bees have also netted ten goals in five games this month compared to the three scored by QPR during their latest five encounters, with Brentford predicted to seal another win by simply scoring more goals than their opponents.
Brentford to beat QPR.
Bradford can confirm their League One promotion playoff berth by collecting at least a point from this game but they will hope to seal a fifth consecutive victory at Valley Parade where they are unbeaten in league action all season. Visitors AFC Wimbledon are winless to date during April and have yet to score a goal this month as they remain entrenched in mid-table. With the Dons winning just one league match on the road during the last six months, it is unlikely that they will offer a threat to Bradford with the hosts expected to win this contest.
Bradford to beat AFC Wimbledon.
Manager David Jones apologised to the Hartlepool supporters after the players lost 2-1 at League Two bottom team Leyton Orient last Monday with the Pool now winless in six games as they seek to avoid relegation. However, visitors Barnet have lost all four games this month with Rossi Eames becoming caretaker manager following the dismissal of Kevin Nugent last week. The Bees have also lost their last four away matches and could face another defeat with their hosts desperate to secure vital points and needing a reaction to their poor performance at Orient. A home win is predicted for our accumulator tip.
Hartlepool to beat Barnet.
Three successive victories offered Newport County some hope that they could avoid relegation from League One, but a 6-1 defeat at Plymouth on Monday will have dented confidence. Although County now return to Rodney Parade where the poor condition of the pitch can help the hosts, visitors Accrington Stanley will be eager to extend a current fifteen match unbeaten sequence as their promotion playoff hopes remain realistic. Stanley have won recently at Plymouth and Exeter and could claim three points from this match.
Accrington Stanley to beat Newport County.
Lincoln could seal promotion to League Two by winning this game and they have won their latest six matches in the National League, with their 2-1 win at Gateshead on Monday clinched by scoring two very late goals. Just two goals have been conceded by the Imps during those six victories whereas the defence of visitors Macclesfield has been breached eight times in their four latest games, three of which ended in defeat. The Silkmen cannot now qualify for the promotion playoffs and may already be casting an eye on their date at Wembley next month in the FA Trophy final, and a home win is forecasted for this contest.
Lincoln to beat Macclesfield.
