Weekend football accumulator tips for the Saturday afternoon matches including the reasons for each pick and which bookmaker to use on our accumulator bet to get three free £10 bets.
Both Barnsley and Sunderland will be aiming to enhance their League One promotion ambitions this weekend, and their respective games feature in this Saturday Accumulator alongside Blackpool’s home game against struggling Southend. Promotion is also the aim for both Bury and Ross County, with their fixtures in League Two and the Scottish Championship also selected.
After winning their opening three League One games during February, Barnsley then participated in two goalless stalemates before winning 3-0 at Southend last weekend despite being reduced to ten players during the first half. The Tykes remain unbeaten in league action this year and will hope to enhance their automatic promotion prospects when hosting an Accrington Stanley team currently struggling for form. Stanley are capable of creating surprise results, but they have lost their latest two games with just one league victory secured during 2019. A comfortable home win is predicted.
Off-field problems continue to plague Blackpool, but the first team responded to a poor 4-0 defeat at Bristol Rovers on Saturday by claiming a 2-1 midweek win at Accrington Stanley. The Tangerines have become a better team on the road this year than at Bloomfield Road, but they now host a Southend team beaten 3-0 on home soil by Barnsley at the weekend. The Shrimpers played with a numerical advantage during the second half of that game when all three goals were conceded. Several recent injuries have not helped Southend and three goals have been conceded in three of their last four matches, with a fourth league defeat since the beginning of February looming.

When beating Bristol Rovers 2-0 in midweek, not only did Sunderland secure their berth in the EFL Trophy final but they also earned a fourth successive competitive victory. Confidence seems to be building at the Stadium of Light with the Black Cats unbeaten this year, and they now travel to face a Wycombe outfit hoping to end a losing sequence of four League One games with ten goals conceded. Although Wycombe can be a decent team at Adams Park, the visitors may prove just too strong as they claim a likely three points.
Although promotion-seeking Bury were denied a fifth successive League Two victory when drawing 1-1 at Cheltenham on Tuesday evening, the hosts are a decent team on soil having lost just one league fixture at Whaddon Road since the beginning of November. The Shakers remain unbeaten in league action since Boxing Day and will be seeking a fifth league victory on the road this year when travelling to Stevenage. Inconsistency has plagued the hosts for much of this campaign and they have lost four league contests on home soil since the beginning of December, including defeats by Lincoln and Mansfield. Bury could be another of the League Two leading teams to win at Broadhall Way.
Since losing their opening two Scottish Championship fixtures of 2019, Ross County have remained unbeaten in competitive action over ninety minutes with at least two goals netted per game. The Dingwall based team won all three league games during February and now host a Morton outfit aiming to avoid a fifth consecutive defeat on their travels. With Morton lacking the ability of their hosts in scoring goals, a home win is forecasted for our accumulator tips.
