The two heavyweights of Group F meet in what is already a vital game for the home side after an opening defeat to Ukrainian minnows Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. Defeat would leave them six points behind Napoli too which would be a huge mountain to climb. PSV currently sit third in the Eredivisie after a decent start but they have been in excellent scoring form and have averaged over three goals in the league thus far. They were 6-0 winners at the weekend courtesy of hatricks from Dries Mertens and Jurgen Locadia.
Napoli have enjoyed a brilliant start to the season, are unbeaten and sit second in Serie A. Whilst their attack is widely lauded, it has been the defence that has received the most plaudits recently after an excellent run of four consecutive clean sheets. Edinson Cavani has continued his superb goalscoring record too and is the current top scorer in Serie A with six goals in six games. He can be expected to have a big influence.
