Both teams to score tips for this weekend’s Saturday afternoon matches including the reasons for each pick on the BTTS accumulator and which bookmaker to use on the bet.
Championship promotion hopefuls Leeds have become a reliable team in front of goal and their home fixture with improving Queens Park Rangers features in this BTTS four-fold accumulator alongside three matches from League One. Accrington Stanley will hope to upset Sunderland while games at Burton and Wycombe are expected to yield a few goals.
Leeds vs Queens Park Rangers
Accrington Stanley vs Sunderland
Burton vs Shrewsbury
Wycombe vs Barnsley
Since netting a very late equaliser against Millwall at the beginning of September, Leeds have scored in each of their subsequent Championship fixtures and they are unbeaten in five matches at Elland Road. However, visitors QPR have been a consistent team in front of goal in recent weeks having failed to net in just one league game from early October onwards. Rangers have also scored at least twice in each of their four latest matches but defensive lapses have also been an issue in those same contests.
Ahead of this much anticipated League One home fixture for Accrington Stanley, the hosts are winless in league action since earning a 1-0 victory at Peterborough during mid-October. However, Stanley regained form in front of goal when sealing a 3-1 home win against Cheltenham in FA Cup action last weekend which was followed by a midweek 2-2 EFL Trophy draw with Lincoln and an eventual penalty shoot-out success. Visitors Sunderland also won in midweek and they have netted in each of their League One fixtures this term. In front of an expectant home crowd, a fiercely competitive game is predicted with a few goals scored, ideal for our BTTS tips.
After claiming an 89th minute winner when beating AFC Wimbledon 2-1 at the beginning of November, Shrewsbury have netted in each of their subsequent competitive matches which is a good BTTS stat. The Shrews have also won three of their latest four league games ahead of their visit to a Burton team which has failed to score in just one league fixture since the onset of October. With just two clean sheets registered during the same time period, games involving the Brewers do tend to open affairs and both teams have scored in most of their recent matches. The visitors will also be eager to further impress new manager and ex-Wrexham boss Sam Ricketts.
During the first two months of the current League One campaign, Wycombe won just one match, but they have become a much-improved outfit with five successive league victories earned at Adams Park. Wanderers have also netted in each of their last seven league games ahead of this home game with promotion hopefuls Barnsley. The Tykes scored three times against a Manchester City U21 team on Tuesday evening to follow a 4-2 weekend FA Cup victory at Southend. Barnsley have also failed to net in just one league game since late September.
