Brazil: 1/4 to win Group A with Coral.
Brazil have experienced winning major international tournaments in the past especially the World Cup. They have a squad full of stars and names that have lit up their domestic leagues. The likes of Neymar who currently has 12 goals and six assists for Brazil will hope to impress and help Brazil to the win the World Cup, for our Group A World Cup betting tip we are banking on Brazil winning the group with ease. Oscar has had a stellar season for Chelsea and will look to replicate his early season for Chelsea at the World Cup. Many voted Fernandinho as Manchester City’s player of the season and for most part of the season, he was exceptional and a stalwart in City’s title winning midfield and the like will be the difference makers against teams that attempt to make the game difficult for Brazil.
Mexico: 9/1 to win Group A with Paddy Power.
Mexico are very much favourites along with Brazil to qualify from the group which is a general consensus. Mexico are a very exciting team to watch. They have a very organised and balanced team and possess players that can hurt teams which are key ingredients to qualify from any group in major tournament. There are concerns that the Mexican squad lack World Cup experience which may hinder them during the competition. The experience to see out games and scoring goals in crucial moments is key to progressing from the group and the Mexicans may struggle with the game demands. Giovanni dos Santos, Andres Guardado and Guillermo Ochoa will need to be in top form if Mexico are to have any chance of progressing to the second round.
Croatia: 10/1 to win Group A with Stan James.
Croatia have a strong squad for the World Cup in Brazil. What is most eye catching is the strike force they possess. The likes of Mario Mandzukic (Bayern Munich), Ivica Olic (Wolfsburg), Eduardo da Silva (Shakhtar Donetsk) and Nikica Jelavic (Hull) are prolific at their respective clubs. Mario Mandzukic will need to use his title winning mentality to help drive Croatia forward and lead the line majestically. Another household name, loved very much by the Spanish is Luka Modric. Modric has had a fantastic season and is touted to be Real Madrid’s player of the year and deservedly so. His vision, range of passing and ability to speed up the game should be a plus for Croatia.
Cameroon: 33/1 to win Group A with Stan James.
Cameroon are the outsides to go through to the second round of the World Cup. However, never rule the underdogs out. As underdogs, they have nothing to lose, they will be looking to express themselves and go for it, after all they will have nothing to lose and this seems to lift a certain pressure from fans, media etc. Samuel Eto’o will be looking to be a goal threat at 33 years old and Alex Song who has had a difficult season at the Nou Camp will be captaining the side to a spectacular campaign in Brazil this summer.
Brazil will no doubt be the winners of Group A. They have a good mix of quality and experience to win the group. They should not have an advantage in terms of the weather because the countries in Group A have all adapted to hot environments so the players will be used to heat. However, quality will shine through and Brazil should easily win this group, betting odds of 1/4 do not appeal so for our World Cup tip in Group A back Brazil to win all three matches at 11/10 with Sky Bet.
