Watford are having a great season under Javi Gracia and go into this match off the back of three straight home wins and no defeat in five at Vicarage Road.

They have conceded in their last two home games though, winning them both 2-1, we’re predicting the same outcome here.

Fulham have lost their last six away but have scored in four of them matches.

Watford vs Fulham Match Preview and Latest Odds

Relegation is now a formality for Fulham and it could be confirmed this week, following Huddersfield Town back into the Sky Bet Championship. The West London club were not expected to be in this position after spending big money in the summer and it will be interesting to see how many of them big signings will be offloaded in the summer.

The likes of Jean Michaël Seri and André Zambo Anguissa arrived for big money but are unlikely to hang around for Championship football. Mitrovic is another big name that will certainly attract attention from Premier League clubs ahead of next season.

Watford have had much better fortune this season and sit in 10th place in the table.

Javi Gracia has instilled a confidence in the players and their style of football is certainly easy on the eye. They look a good bet to win this match given their good home form, and Fulham’s very poor away record.

Fulham have lost 12 and won one of their last 13 matches now so the odds for a home win here look good, but a bet on Watford to win and both teams to score would be the recommendation at 11/5 with Betfred.

Watford to win – 8/11

Draw – 3/1

Fulham to win – 18/5

Watford vs Fulham Betting Tips

When it comes to betting on goalscorers in Fulham’s matches this season we have continually looked to Mitrovic to find the net. Unfortunately, he has been very hit and miss despite being their top goalscorer and chipping in with some important goals. He missed the defeat to Manchester City though and could miss this match as well with a stomach problem.

From a Watford view point, Troy Deeney is always the obvious choice for the goalscorer markets and he’s 6/4 to score anytime or 9/2 to score first (both with Betfair). He is the Watford top scorer this season but only has eight goals.

Instead, we’re going to take a punt on Gerard Deulofeu starting the match and getting a goal. He started in the FA Cup win over Crystal Palace and has scored seven times this season, the former Everton and Barcelona man has been impressive in parts for Watford this season, none more so than when getting an unlikely hat-trick against Cardiff City a few weeks ago.

Watford vs Fulham Correct Score Prediction – Watford to win 2-1 @ 8/1

It has been a tough season for Fulham, with three different managers in charge and a run of defeats now that has left them nailed on for relegation.

Watford can climb up the Premier League table to seventh with a win here after Wolves’ defeat to Burnley on Saturday left them just one point ahead of the Hornets.

The correct score bet we are going for in this one is a 2-1 home win, something that has happened in Watford’s last two home matches and even though Mitrovic might not be available for Fulham, it would be no surprise to see them score for the fifth away match in their last seven.
