The big game of the night is Arsenal v Bayern and looks very tough to call, the Germans have been in outstanding form this season but look too short for me at the Emirates in a game they don't necessarily have to win and won't be going gung ho if it's a draw in the last 10-15mins. Arsenal have an outstanding European home record. I have left that game out of my accumulator choices for Tuesdays games :
Burnley to beat Middlesbrough
Burnley have had 10 days rest which is a big break in an hectic 46 game Championship schedule. They have been solid since Sean Dyche's appointment and still have outside aspirations for the playoffs. Their opponents are on a terrible run, 2013 has not been kind to Tony Mowbray's men with 6 league defeats out of 7. Their away form has been even poorer, 4 defeats out of 4 and shipping 12 goals in the process. Burnley's Charlie Austin will like the sound of that and i'm going home win.
Leicester to beat Charlton
The Foxes have a formidable record of 11 home wins out of 15 this season, and have won their last 3, they also have the best goal difference and defensive record in the division. They face a Charlton team who are winless in their last 4 and safely in mid table as the end of season run in looms. Leicester are the better team and should want this more. Home win.
Watford to beat Ipswich
I don't think the bookies have realised quite how good Udinese reserves, i mean Watford, are. Generally available again at 6/4, as they were away at Birmingham(winning 4-0) at 18th places Ipswich. Their last 9 away games has seen them win 6 and score an amazing 25 goals! They are comfortably the highest scoring team in the Championship with 64 in 32, if you're scoring 2 a game, you've got a good chance. Mick McCarthy has certainly improved Ipswich but they are still struggling and have only won 5 of 16 at home this season and scored a meagre 34 goals overall. Away win.
Celtic to win at St.Johnstone
Celtic seemed to start the season in cruise control, knowing that without Rangers the SPL wouldn't prove too problematic this year. They've certainly been more ruthless of late, and now have an 18 point advantage over Motherwell. They have scored 21 in the past 5 league games, won their last 6(and 11 of 12) & boast an away record of 8 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats. St.Johnstone are having a solid season, currently in 6th but should be no match for Neil Lennon's team.
