Bournemouth to beat Preston

The only thing i'm wary of in this match is new manager syndrome after Graham Westley's inevitable departure from Preston. Meanwhile the Eddie Howe revival goes on and on at Bournemouth and after an appalling start they find themselves top of League One! Bournemouth have won their last 5, their last 3 away and scored 12 goals in the process. They arguably have the strongest squad in the division and can be backed with confidence here. Preston have only won 3 at home all season and haven't won in 11 at Deepdale.

Sheff Utd to beat Colchester

Sheffield United had stuttered of late but have got back on track with two away wins in the last week which will give them a huge boost of confidence. Their home form has been poor of late, but they were unbeaten in their first 12 at Bramhall lane this season and the crowd will be encouraged by this weeks performances. Colchester are in 20th position in League One, despite 3 wins in their last 4, and have lost 10 of their 15 away games this season.

Yeovil to beat Scunthorpe

I feel Yeovil have been overpriced again by the bookmakers this weekend, odds against at home to 18th place in the table given their current form is good value. We were on them midweek against Preston and will go with them again – 7 wins in a row, 5 wins a row at home and scoring goals galore in the process. Scunthorpe have been in decent form themselves, but this selection is more to do with Yeovils qualities than backing against Scunthorpe.

Port Vale to beat Morecambe

Vale are benefitting from the addition of their January signings Lee Hughes and Darren Purse and having backed them at 40/1 to win League Two at the start of the season i am delighted to see them on top of the table. They have won their last 3 home matches with an aggregate of 10-0 and have only been defeated once in their previous 10. Morecambe do score goals but also leak and a prolific Vale attack should take advantage.

The 4 fold pays 12.28/1 at William Hill.
