Blackburn vs Millwall Betting Tip

After reclaiming their Championship status for the current campaign, Blackburn were unfortunate not to claim an opening day victory after a very late equaliser ensured that they only earned a 2-2 draw at Ipswich.  Rovers will now hope to extend their impressive goal-scoring sequence at Ewood Park where they netted in every League One game last term from late September onwards. Opponents Millwall were also denied at the weekend when two late Middlesbrough goals prevented them from securing a 2-0 home victory. The Lions have failed to net just once on their league travels this year, and goals are expected in this game.

Luton vs Sunderland Betting Tip

From the beginning of November 2017 onwards, Luton netted in each of their League Two home matches as they eventually secured promotion from that league. Although the Hatters failed to score in their opening day fixture at Portsmouth, they dominated the game for long periods and were arguably unlucky losers. Sunderland will be the visitors to Kenilworth Road this weekend and they recovered from losing an early goal to beat Charlton 2-1 on Saturday. Although the Black Cats will field a much-changed team from their relegation season last term, they will hope to justify their position as ante-post promotion favourites by scoring at least once in a game which could produce a few goals.

Crawley v Stevenage Betting Tip

Although Crawley have been a rather inconsistent team in League Two football this year, they have netted in every home match despite losing four of their last five games at the Broadfield Stadium last season. The Reds also netted the only goal at Cheltenham at the weekend and now host a Stevenage team which lost a two-goal lead when drawing 2-2 with Tranmere last Saturday. With Stevenage failing to net just once in six pre-season friendlies, expect both teams to score.

Inverness vs Ayr Betting Tip

Inverness began their Scottish Championship season by winning 1-0 at Falkirk after claiming victory in three of their four prior League Cup ties. A 5-0 loss at Hearts was the only setback for the Highlanders. Visitors Ayr now make the long journey from the South West coast of Scotland and after winning League One last season, they have won all five games to date this season scoring at least twice per match so this looks like a strong selection for our both teams to score tips this weekend. A competitive contest is expected between two in-form teams with several goals likely.
