Arsenal vs. Blackburn – 3pm – Saturday 16th February – 2/5

Blackburn are starting to find some decent form in the Championship and they will come to the Emirates full of confidence this Saturday in the FA Cup. Despite conceding 4 goals in their last 6 games, Blackburn will surely let in a couple against Arsenal, who despite their lacklustre performance against Sunderland are in fine attacking form, and with the Champions League tie on Wednesday there will be a few players rested, which will give others in attack a chance to stake their place for a regular berth. As well as that, the Arsenal defence is hardly the most sound in the top league, and with some players rested there as well don’t be surprised to see Blackburn sneak one.

Birmingham vs. Watford – 3pm – Saturday 16th February – 8/11

With Birmingham conceding amongst the most in the league at home over the last 6 games and Watford amongst the top scorers away from home in the same period this game looks set to be full of goals. Watford are currently averaging over 2 goals a game over their last 6 which they shouldn’t have much trouble continuing against the Brum defence, but their away defence isn’t the strongest and the St Andrews fans should be celebrating at least once in this match. This should be an open game with Birmingham still closer to the relegation zone than they’d prefer and Watford chasing an automatic promotion place, so should have no problem in providing us with goals.

Milton Keynes vs. Barnsley – 3pm – Saturday 16th – 11/10

Milton Keynes have been on something of a downward slide at the moment aside from their emphatic victory over QPR in the last round, having lost 3 of their last 6 in the league and this form could well continue when Barnsley visit this weekend. MK’s defence will be seriously tested by the side with the best away record in the Championship over the last 6 games, and have found the net 10 times in those 6 matches. Milton Keynes look more than capable of giving a reply to Barnsley, having scored 11 in their last 6 at home, but I can’t see the lower league side bettering Barnsley here.
