Over 2.5 Goals Betting Tip for Wednesday 28th November

Wednesday gives us a rare midweek Premier League fixture list and Will has once again looked to get an over 2.5 goals treble tip for the matches.

Everton vs. Arsenal – Wednesday. 7.45pm 28.11.12 – 4/6

These two sides have both been stuttering of late, but this fixture nearly always produces goals and I can’t see this tie going against the trend. The last time these two sides met it finished 1-0 Arsenal, but it has to be remembered this was at a point in the season when Everton had nothing to play for and no real need of the points. However things have changed. With the gap between them and the Champions League spots widening and Arsenal fluffing their chances of overtaking them on more than one occasion, Everton know they need to put daylight between themselves and Arsenal and will look to goals to do this, against an Arsenal defence still looking shaky despite the return of Szczesny. Arsenal have shown they are capable of goals and Everton conceding at Goodison, this one will end up a shout out for 5th spot in the table heading into December.

Tottenham vs. Liverpool – Wednesday 7.45pm 28.11.12 – 8/11

Whilst the focus in the previews of this game may be on the acrobatics of Messrs Bale and Suarez, hopefully it will be the heap of goals we see replays of on Sky Sports News before midnight. Spurs have given a decent account of themselves in all their games against the big sides this year, and whilst some may dispute Liverpool’s claim to being a big side, they’re not exactly a team you want to play. This should spur on Tottenham (couldn’t help it) to up their game as we’ve seen them do this season, and for Tottenham upping their game means attacking more furiously than they do otherwise. Liverpool’s defence isn’t the armour it was last season for Pepe Reina and he himself does not look the same player he was a few years ago. However Spurs’ goals will not go unanswered. If you weren’t aware Suarez is in top form it’s probably why you’re sitting bottom of your fantasy league at the moment, and with Spurs liking a high line a counter offers a real chance of goals with the Liverpool pace. This tie should give us 3 goals with ease.

Swansea vs. West Brom – Wednesday 7.45pm 28.11.12 – 4/6

On the cusp of December, West Brom are the in-form side and sit in 3rd spot. When the Mayans predicted the world ending, this was probably what they meant. The Baggies are looking good for their league position, especially on the road where they are raining goals on their opposition, with 12 scored in their last 6, but also with 11 conceded in the same period. A strike force that boasts the work rate of Long, the pace of Odemwingie and should he come on the mixture of both in Lukaku will be able to harry the Swansea defence into some mistakes which West Brom are in perfect form to take advantage of. But the home side will not go without reply. Swansea’s style will do well against a Brom defence that has shown its susceptibility especially with Michu in the form he is.
