BTTS tips and predictions for this weekend’s Saturday afternoon matches including the reasons for each pick and a £30 free bet you can claim.
Several goals tend to be scored in Championship games involving both Norwich and West Brom and their respective home matches feature in this BTTS tip won last week at 7/1. Promotion-seeking Bury are also covered as they host Paul Scholes’ Oldham team while the final selection involves improving Falkirk as they host an in-form Dundee United team.
Norwich vs Bristol City
West Brom vs Sheffield United
Bury vs Oldham
Falkirk vs Dundee United
Both Teams to Score Odds – 15/2 with Betfred.
From the beginning of November onwards, Norwich have netted at least twice in each of their Championship games at Carrow Road, and in most cases, three goals were scored. The Canaries also beat Leeds 3-1 at Elland Road earlier this month and now host a Bristol City team which has won seven consecutive games in league action. Several goal scoring opportunities were squandered by City last weekend when beaten 1-0 by Wolves in cup action, and they have also netted in their last six games on the road.
Goals seem to be guaranteed whenever West Brom play Championship football with the Baggies scoring ten goals in five league games this month and netting in each league fixture from early November onwards. Yet West Brom now host a Sheffield United team who are certainly not goal shy having netted ten goals in just four games during February. The Blades also drew 2-2 at Norwich at the end of last month as they began a five-match unbeaten sequence.
After watching his new team claim a 4-1 home victory against Yeovil, new Oldham boss Paul Scholes must have been hoping for further success at Boundary Park, but just one point has since been earned from two games with very late goals conceded in both contests. The Latics have failed to find the net in only two games from mid-November onwards but now face a Bury outfit unbeaten in league action this year and scoring in every game. Bury were last beaten in League Two action at Gigg Lane back in late September.
Since the beginning of 2019, Falkirk have become one of the better teams in Scottish Championship football, staying unbeaten in their five league games. The Bairns have also failed to find the net in just one of their league matches since early November and now host a Dundee United team also scoring goals on a regular basis. United have won all three fixtures this month and have netted in all league matches from the beginning of December onwards apart from a 1-0 loss at Ayr last month.
