Anytime Goalscorer Treble

Jordan Hugill – Preston (v Rotherham)

Jordan Hugill only has 13 goals this season but he has netted twice in his last three games including against promoted Newcastle on Monday. The former Port Vale man is instinctive in front of goal and with the likes of Aidan McGeady in the side chances will always be created. Preston score plenty of goals at Deepdale and they could get a few against already relegated Rotherham. The Miller’s defence on the road has been unconvincing and Hugill could find plenty of space. Eight of Hugill’s 13 goals this season have arrived in Lancashire and he has a significant chance of notching again here.

Tom Cairney – Fulham (v Brentford)

Cairney has been a leading light in Fulham’s season so far and has been prolific throughout. He netted from the penalty spot on Saturday and is likely to remain on spotkick duty here. He’s netted 11 times this season including a crucial goal against Brentford in the first meeting between the sides at the start of November. The majority of his goals have come away from home but the hosts are going to get plenty of chances here and Cairney can unleash one from distance. The former Blackburn midfielder could be on his way to the Premier League and Fulham will need his magic once again here.

Yann Kermogant – Reading (v Wigan)

Yann Kermogant is set to retire at the end of the season but his campaign is likely to be extended by the Royal’s play-off push with the FanTeam sign-up offer reviewed ahead of this weekend’s football betting. The Frenchman netted twice against Forest last week and will want to end the season with a flourish. He’s had a productive season sinking 17 goals this campaign including 7 since the middle of March. Wigan have been better recently but away from home they are vulnerable and had to come back from 2 two down against Barnsley a couple of weeks ago. Kermogant will get plenty of chances here and should get on the scoresheet again.
