Both teams to score betting tips for this weekend’s football including reasons for each of our football betting tips and the recommended bookmaker to use for our tips.
The FA Cup action returns this weekend, so there is a lack of games to choose from in the Premier League with just four matches taking place. There are however plenty of games from England’s other three divisions for us to get stuck into. We have picked out four matches where goals look likely. If each of these eight teams score just one goal or more, then we have a winner! See the both teams to score tips below.
We begin in the Championship where two sides with very little to play for go head to head. Norwich’s slim chances of making the playoffs have now disappeared after Saturdays loss to Hull means its six games in a row without a win. They do however have one of the hottest prospects in the Championship in Marcus Maddison. He scored a hattrick at the weekend to enhance his stock yet again, but his teammates in defence aren’t helping him out too much. Reading will look to test out the Canary’s defensive frailty’s when they visit Carrow Road. As a side they are on just as bad a run of form as todays opponents, the Royals are now without a win in seven games. They are however, good value when it comes to a both teams to score bet. Each of their last nine matches have seen both teams getting on the scoresheet and we can see that happening again here.
The second pick comes from League 1 where promotion chasing Charlton host relegation threatened Fleetwood. The Addicks offer value for money for their home fans but they need to improve their defensive record at the Valley. They have only managed to keep one clean sheet in their last 14 games when playing there. That is good for our bet though. The Cod army are struggling in the league and are currently sat in the relegation zone. They are a great choice for this type of bet though, as their games tend to be filled with goals. 11 of their last 12 matches in the league would have seen this bet land, which is a fantastic ratio.
The penultimate pick for Saturday’s BTTS tips is also from League 1 where goals look a sure thing. Oldham have conceded the most goals in the division, but surprisingly despite sitting in 19th place, have scored 50 goals so far, only six sides have scored more than that. Pompey are just five points off the playoffs so will look to take advantage of the Latics defensive woes and claim three points here. Portsmouth have only failed to score in one of their last eight games, that came when they unexpectedly drew a blank against Blackpool. It looks quite a tough game to predict a result, so both teams to score looks the safer choice.
Oxford certainly provide entertainment for their fans, even though they have started to slide down the league. Only three sides in the division have both scored and conceded 50 or more goals so far this term and the home side are one of them. They have conceded the most goals out of anyone when playing at home, but have also scored 27 themselves in the 17 games they have played there. Peterborough have turned round their form since the dismissal of Grant McCann, they are now unbeaten in their last six games. The good thing for us is that every one of those six games would have seen this tip land. That run looks set to continue here when these two free scoring sides meet at the Kassam Stadium.
