Both Brentford and Hull have been scoring goals for fun on home soil in recent weeks and their games with QPR and Birmingham respectively feature in this BTTS four-fold accumulator. Two matches in League Two are also covered with Bury facing Macclesfield and Crewe hosting Northampton, with goals expected in both games.
Brentford vs QPR
Hull vs Birmingham
Bury vs Macclesfield
Crewe vs Northampton
Both Teams to Score Odds – 8/1 with Betfred.
Although they suffered a third successive away defeat when beaten 2-0 at improving Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday evening, Brentford are a much better team at Griffin Park where they have won seven of their last eight matches. Norwich denied the Bees back in early January at the venue when drawing 1-1, and Brentford will aim to extend this impressive home form when hosting a London derby against QPR. The confidence of Rangers will have been boosted when beating Leeds 1-0 in midweek and so ending a seven-match losing sequence in Championship action. Yet QPR have failed to net in only two league games this year.
Having lost only at Norwich in Championship away matches from late November onwards and netted at least twice in six of those eight fixtures, Birmingham will hope to follow a 2-1 midweek victory at Bristol City by winning this game at Hull. However, the Tigers are unbeaten at the KCOM Stadium within the last three months and have scored at least two goals in their latest seven league fixtures at the venue. Jarrod Bowen has been first goalscorer in the prior four home matches.
Although a midweek 3-0 EFL Trophy semi-final defeat by Portsmouth will have disappointed Bury, they can now resume their aim towards automatic promotion from League Two by extending a sequence of scoring in every league fixture since the beginning of the year. The Shakers have netted three or more goals in five games during that same period. Visitors Macclesfield have also netted in each of their 2019 league fixtures and have featured in three successive score draws, one of which involved a 3-3 scoreline when hosting Crewe.
When claiming a late 2-1 win at Stevenage last weekend, Northampton were finding the net for the tenth successive League Two game on the road with four of those games ending in victory. The Cobblers now travel to Crewe with the hosts winning their five previous league games at Gresty Road prior to a 2-1 defeat by Exeter on Saturday. Both teams have also scored in eight of the nine league matches played by Crewe this year.
