Reasons for this Weekend’s Accumulator Tips

Although the new Premier League season begins this weekend, the selections for this Saturday Accumulator are taken from the third, fourth and fifth tiers of English football. Troubled Bolton’s match against Coventry is featured in League One alongside Fleetwood’s first home game of the campaign. Action in League Two involves one of the promotion favourites Mansfield hosting Morecambe while at National League level, both Fylde and Solihull are included as they seek to repeat their decent 2018-19 campaigns. Odds of approximately 11/1 will be available for the successful outcome of these 3 o’clock kick-offs.

Bolton vs Coventry Betting Tip – Coventry win.

Following relegation from the Championship and a summer of upheaval, long-term injuries to both Connor Hall and Josh Earl sustained at Wycombe last weekend was not welcome news for Bolton. Faced with the problem of selecting few available senior players, the Trotters were beaten 2-0 at Wycombe and those same dilemmas will be evident this Saturday when hosting Coventry. The visitors have also undergone a troubled few months and now ground share with Birmingham for home games, but they claimed a 1-0 victory against Southend on the opening day. Another narrow win for Coventry is likely.

Fleetwood vs AFC Wimbledon Betting Tip – Fleetwood win.

After winning 3-1 at ambitious Peterborough on Saturday, Fleetwood demonstrated their intentions of being involved in the League One promotion battle this season. The Cod Army were hindered by inconsistency last season but several players have returned to Highbury during the summer and Ched Evans has also recently signed for the club. For their first home fixture of the campaign, Fleetwood host an AFC Wimbledon team beaten 2-1 by Rotherham on home soil last Saturday. The Dons struggled in pre-season and with no significant strengthening of the first team squad, they face a difficult afternoon at Highbury.

Mansfield vs Morecambe Betting Tip – Mansfield win.

Although they began the season as one of the ante-post favourites to be promoted from League Two, Mansfield were denied at Newport on Saturday when drawing 2-2. However, the Stags were reduced to ten players with just over twenty minutes of actions remaining after recovering from a two-goal deficit. Visitors Morecambe fared much worse than their hosts on the opening day when beaten 2-0 by Grimsby on home turf and they lost the corresponding fixture 4-0 back in April. Another defeat is looming for the Shrimps.

AFC Fylde vs Ebbsfleet Betting Tip – AFC Fylde win.

Financial issues and unpaid wages have been prevalent at Ebbsfleet during the past few months with manager Gary Hill also admitting that his first team squad is ‘short on bodies’. 3-1 and 4-1 defeats in their opening two games have not helped although they were reduced to ten players after just nine minutes of their 4-1 defeat by Halifax. The Fleet now travel to Fylde with the hosts winning 2-1 at Aldershot before being denied by promoted Chorley in a midweek goalless stalemate. After losing both National League games against Fylde last season, it is probable that Ebbsfleet will suffer another reverse.

Solihull vs Aldershot Betting Tip – Solihull win.

During much of last season, Solihull were serious contenders for promotion from the National League and only failed at the play-off stages. The Moors have begun the current term intent on maintaining those high standards by securing a decent score-draw at Harrogate and then claiming an impressive 3-0 midweek home win against promoted Torquay. Visitors Aldershot escaped relegation last term due to the ill-fortunes of Gateshead and began this term by suffering 2-1 home loss to Fylde. A Tuesday evening 1-0 win at promoted Woking was welcome, but Solihull will be much stronger opponents with a home win predicted to complete Saturday accumulator tips.
