Over 2.5 Goals Free Betting Tip for Saturday – 13/2 Treble

Goals is the order of the day on Saturday for this over 2.5 goals treble. We will be looking for three goals or more in each of these three matches.

Leicester vs. Barnsley, 3pm – Saturday 8.12.12 – 4/6

With an attacking force that has only been outgunned at home by Crystal Palace this season, you have to fancy Leicester to go to town on a Barnsley defence that is hovering dangerously above the relegation zone. Leicester are attempting to keep pace with Palace and Cardiff, sitting 4 and 5 points off the pair respectively, and a tie like Barnsley at home is one that has to be taken advantage of with the form the two sides in the automatic spots are in. Barnsley’s defence have conceded just shy of 2 goals per game in their last 6, whilst Leicester have found the net 16 times in their last 6 at home. Aside from their blip away at Leeds last week, Leicester have looked in formidable form, with Nigel Pearson describing last weekend’s victory over Derby as their best performance of the season. With confidence high, Barnsley’s defence won’t withstand the Foxes for too long.

Carlisle vs. Sheff United, 3pm – Saturday 8.12.12 – Evens

Season ticket holders at Brunton Park have seen more goals in their last 6 games than any other stadium in League 1, and we’re hoping this trend continues this Saturday. Carlisle have managed to score 12 at home in their last 6, but have also conceded a staggering 17, meaning visitors Sheff United will fancy their chances of grabbing a few goals. 4 of Carlisle’s last 6 matches have produced over 2.5 goals, as they just seem unable to hold their defence. United haven’t been amongst the goals as much as they’d have hoped as of late, but they’ve faced some very tricky fixtures and will be hoping to use this tie to kickstart their goalscoring form and helping them push for an automatic spot as we head into the congested Christmas fixtures.

Charlton vs. Brighton, 3pm – Saturday 8.12.12 – Evens

Charlton host Brighton at the Valley this weekend and we’re hoping for the same number of goals as the last time Brighton made the trip to south London last weekend. Against Crystal Palace, Brighton were aware of the attacking threat their opposition posed, whereas here they will be a bit more lax, which is exactly what we want. Charlton have scored 10 in their last 6 at the Valley, so they’ve shown that scoring at home isn’t a problem, but their defence is the problem. They’ve conceded 12 in the same number of games, and although Brighton’s attack is by no means the strongest in the league, they will be able to find a way past a Charlton defence which has conceded more at home than they have away this year so far.
