Sunday’s Premier League Accumulator Tip:

Leicester to beat QPR

It’s very difficult to make predictions on the last day of the season with some clubs having something to play for and others already looking forward to their summer holidays. We start this week’s accumulator tip with in form Leicester. Over the past eight matches they have been on a fantastic run winning six matches and securing their place among next season’s elite with a game to spare. Few would have expected that back in March. Their confidence and quick attacking style should be too much for already relegated QPR. The Hoops have had a disappointing campaign and find themselves back in the Championship next term. Manager Chris Ramsey will already be thinking about next season so I fully expect the Foxes to reward their fans with another three points here.

Man City to beat Southampton

This could be a close one with Southampton still in the hunt for a European place, but I expect Man City just to edge it. City on the whole have had quite a disappointing campaign finishing a long way behind champions Chelsea. A rebuilding job could well be needed at the Etihad but they have found some form in recent weeks and with Sergio Aguero banging in the goals they should have enough to take the victory. The Saints have had a great first season under Ronald Koeman and they should not be disappointed with a seventh place finish. I believe that they will come back next season an even stronger side but they just may fail to get anything from this match.

Swansea to win at Crystal Palace

This is an end of season battle between two clubs who have probably over achieved this season. Crystal Palace were many punters tip to be relegated when then manager Tony Pulis left them just two days before that start of the campaign. Neil Warnock took over and things didn't really improve. After his departure they brought in club legend Alan Pardew and since his appointment the Eagles have been flying. However most of their good form has come away from Selhurst Park where they can catch teams on the counter attack with pace. Swansea are a good passing side under Gary Monk and he has had a great first full season as manager. Both teams will want to end with a win and I think that the Swans may just have the edge.

Hull to beat Man Utd

At any other time of the season I would probably never predict this result. Man Utd are rebuilding under Louis Van Gaal and have now achieved their target of reaching the Champions League. I'm sure that they will try and end the season on a high but Hull have more reasons than any other club to win this weekend. Either Hull or Newcastle will be relegated after this round of matches and unfortunately for the Tigers it is out of their hands. They must take all three points against the Red Devils and hope that the Newcastle don’t beat West Ham. Despite Hull's awful Premier League record in May (no wins in four seasons) I think that they will have enough to record the victory and then it’s all eyes on Newcastle.

West Ham to win at Newcastle

Back in February I looked at the relegation odds and one firm was quoting 500/1 on Newcastle to fall through the trap door. The Magpies have had a very poor season. Under Alan Pardew they were just about holding their own in mid table but since his departure at the turn of the year things have gone from bad to worse for the toon. John Carver stepped up as manager but he has seen his side win just two matches and I don't see that record improving this weekend. They play a West Ham side who have also had a poor second half of the season. This could be manager Big Sam's last match in charge of the Hammers but he will want to go out with a victory. He would also like to take a hand in seeing the demise of the club that sacked him back in 2008 and bring home our winning accumulator.
