This weekend’s both teams to score and win tips start at 12.30pm and run through the Premier League, La Liga and Ligue 1 matches. The odds are 40/1.
We’re off across Europe for this weekend’s score and win bet, with fixtures from England, Spain and France on the agenda. The straight accumulator fetches a decent price around the 40/1 mark with Bet Bright and the shortest priced pair is available at 11/1 with the same bookmaker. We had to settle for two out of three again last week after yet another red card threw a spanner into the works, but still managed to secure a 12/1 double nevertheless. Let’s hope for a little more luck this weekend.
We’re kicking affairs off in the Premier League this Saturday as in-form Leicester take on Crystal Palace at 12:30 lunchtime. The Foxes have been an absolute revelation under new boss Claude Puel and have now won their last four matches in a row and three of them via a BTTS outcome. A lot of people may well have sniffed at the unfashionable appointment of the Frenchman, but there’s no doubt his acquisition has had a positive effect on the club’s fortunes and been the catalyst behind the outstanding recent form of Riyad Mahrez. Opponents Crystal Palace have also been on the end of another positive managerial change, with Roy Hodgson guiding the Eagles off the foot of the league table following a six match unbeaten run. From our bet’s perspective, though, there is one worry surrounding the visitors that despite recording six straight BTTS results on home soil, Palace have yet to even register a goal away from home in eight attempts already this season. However, surely the law of averages suggests this has to change at some point, and with both matches between the two sides ending in scores of 2-2 at Selhurst Park and 3-1 to Leicester at The King Power last year, let’s have a punt on another BTTS home victory this time around.
Our second selection for Saturday’s both teams to score and win tips takes us to Spain and a potentially entertaining derby between Basque country rivals Athletic Bilbao and Real Sociedad at 15:15. Only two points separates the pair in the current La Liga standings, with both sides performing rather inconsistently so far this season, largely due to the burden of Thursday night football in the Europa League. Hosts Bilbao have had the better of the recent matches between the two, winning 2-0 in Sociedad and 3-2 at the San Mames last year. Whilst the hosts’ home record looks nothing special as it stands, they have already played five of the top six there and are about to enter a very favourable run of fixtures on home soil. The visitors are the current leaders in the BTTS charts in La Liga and have seen both teams find the net in their last three away games, losing two of them in the process. Although derbies can be notoriously unpredictable, I feel home advantage just about gives Bilbao the edge here, so back them to win this with both teams making the scoresheet.
The anchor leg on our betting tips comes to us from France as runaway leaders PSG travel to Rennes at 16:00. Neymar and co are currently tearing up Ligue 1 this season and have already opened up a nine-point gap over second placed Lyon, even after a shock 2-1 defeat away to Strasbourg a week ago. PSG have already won seven matches this campaign with both teams scoring and have also only kept three clean sheets from eight away games to date. Needless to say, these are really encouraging statistics from our bets standpoint. Hosts Rennes are in excellent home form at present, winning their last four matches in a row at Roazhon Park. Despite being very solid at home and with a decent defensive record to boot, all of this tends to go straight out of the window when the free-scoring Parisiennes come to town. PSG have wont the last six meetings between the pair, so back them to make this seven with both teams scoring this weekend.
