World Cup betting offer

Mexico vs Scotland predictions and betting tips for the International Friendly on Sunday morning with an anytime goalscorer tip and match prediction included.

Mexico are preparing for the World Cup 2018 with three warm-up matches. The second of them takes place at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City, a stadium that is 2,915 metres above sea-level. Scotland are the visitors and Alex McLeish is currently preparing his side for Euro 2020 qualifiers and the UEFA Nations League. They lost 2-0 to Peru earlier in the week and another experimental line-up is expected for this one. Mexico have been drawn in Group F alongside Germany, Sweden and Korea Republic. They qualified with ease but have been dealt a tough draw in Russia. They have failed to find the net during their last two International Friendlies and fans are understandably concerned about their side’s chances this summer. They are usually very effective on home soil and they will fancy their chances here. Scotland have lost three of their last five friendlies but have looked relatively solid in each of them. Mexico vs Scotland Predictions

Mexico are expected to triumph in this fixture but the odds-on price doesn’t offer much value to punters. It should be fairly routine for El Tri but Scotland aren’t likely to roll over. Four of Scotland’s last five matches have ended with fewer than three goals and it could be a similar outcome to the Peru match. The first of our Mexico vs Scotland betting tips is Mexico to Win and Under 2.5 Goals which is priced at 19/10 with Ladbrokes.

The Atzeca is not for the faint hearted and teams who are not acclimatised can often struggle with the altitude. This can often kick in later in the game and Scotland may struggle in the latter stages of this one. Highest Scoring Half – Second Half is priced at 11/10 with Betfred and is the second of our Mexico vs Scotland predictions.

There are a quite a few dangerous players for Mexico including birthday boy Javier Hernandez. Carlos Vela has been in good form for Los Angeles FC and he’s joined up with the squad. Playing competitive football in recent weeks will certainly help. Carlos Vela in the anytime goalscorer market is priced at 7/4 with Betfair and is the last of our Mexico vs Scotland betting tips.

Mexico vs Scotland Betting Preview

Mexico start as hot favourites for this clash and can be backed at 1/4. Scotland won’t be fancied by many in this game but 9/1 looks a huge price. 19/5 is the price of the game to end all-square.

The bookies are finding it difficult to decide whether this game will be free-scoring with Over 2.5 Goals priced at 5/6 with Under 2.5 Goals available at 10/11.

There are a number of players who will be popular in the first goalscorer market including Oribe Peralta who is 7/2 whilst Raul Jimenez and Carlos Vela are both 9/2.

All of these odds are from Ladbrokes
