Tunisia vs Spain Predictions, Betting Tips and Preview

World Cup betting tips

Tunisia vs Spain predictions and betting tips for the International Friendly on Saturday night. We pick out three betting tips for the World Cup 2018 warm-up match which kicks off at 7:45pm.

Spain will go into the 2018 World Cup amongst the favourites and the 2010-winners have a suitably strong squad once again. They generally fare well in tournaments and they’ll be confident of progressing to the latter stage of the competition. Their final warm-up game comes against Tunisia, who are drawn in Group G. Spain will be expected to win easily here but they were denied by Switzerland during their last friendly. They have previously put six past Argentina and held Germany to a 1-1 draw in friendly games and they are incredibly difficult to beat. They have a hugely experienced squad with the likes of Andres Iniesta and Gerard Pique both likely to start the Group B games in Russia. Dani Carvajal’s injury is the only negative going into the tournament and he is unlikely to be risked in this game. Tunisia are also difficult to beat and have shown great resilience over the past couple of months. They came back from 2-0 down against Portugal at Euro 2020 and they  also battled back with ten men against Turkey to earn a hard-earned draw. It’s been over 12 months since they were last beaten, losing 1-0 to Morocco in March 2017.

Tunisia vs Spain Betting Preview

It’s no surprise to see Spain priced up at an odds-on price for this game and Julen Lopetegui’s side can be backed at 4/13 with Sporting Bet to head into the World Cup off the back of a victory.

Although they are usually defensively sound, Spain conceded against Switzerland and they could be susceptible here. The traders are obviously expecting goals in this tie and Over 2.5 Goals is priced up at 4/5 by Ladbrokes.

Spanish players dominate in the goalscoring market with Diego Costa leading the way. The Atletico frontman is 11/4 with Betfair to open the scoring in this one and he is closely followed by Rodrigo and Iago Aspas who are 10/3 and 4/1 respectively.

Tunisia vs Spain Predictions

Spain are too short on the outright but it allows us to explore alternatives. They should win this game but Tunisia offer a real threat at the other end and neighbours Portugal found them difficult to deal with. If Julen Lopetegui’s side triumph, they may have to bag a few goals to ensure they aren’t pegged back.  The first of our Tunisia vs Spain predictions is Spain Win and Over 2.5 Goals which can be backed at Evens with Ladbrokes. Use their £50 free bet to back an easy night for France.

On that same note, it could be a high-scoring game and the bookies are offering a decent price for both teams to find the back of the net in this tie. Tunisia do tend to score and have netted in each of their last four friendlies. The second of our Tunisia vs Spain betting tips is Both Teams to Score and can be backed 11/8 with Betfred. Use their generous £30 in free bets to wager on the goals market in this game.

There are a number of possible goalscorers for Spain but David Silva is always dangerous in the final third and he is almost guaranteed to start this fixture. His magic could help open up the Tunisian defence. David Silva to score anytime is the third of our Tunisia vs Spain predictions and is available at 15/8 with Betfair. Use their £100 of free bets to back the majestic Man City midfielder in this fixture.
