World Cup betting tips for a correct score bet in all six of the Group F fixtures where Germany will be strong favourites to qualify for the last 16. Sweden, South Korea and Mexico make up the other three teams in what looks like a quite competitive group.
Germany won the World Cup in Brazil four years ago but there is a feeling that they aren’t as dominant as their squads in recent history. It is hard to see them not qualifying from this group but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them tested, especially against Mexico or Sweden and that is exactly what we’re predicting in our correct score predictions for their opening match against the Mexicans. South Korea are not much of a threat and they should end up bottom of the pile.
As expected, Germany are favourites in this group and are 1/7 to qualify and 4/9 to top the group. Unless you’re going for a World Cup accumulator bet then there is probably better value elsewhere in this group. The biggest fight is between Sweden (10/11 Betway) and Mexico (5/4 Betway) to qualify for the latter stages. South Korea are the outsiders at 4/1 with Paddy Power to make it to the last 16.
We do predict Germany to win this group for our World Cup betting tips, but it’s not a bet to take unless you’re pairing them with another team to go through. One tempting selection is for Germany to win the group and Mexico to come second – the odds for this are 9/4 with Bet Victor and goes in as our Group F prediction, backed up by the correct scores selected below. Elsewhere, South Korea to finish bottom of the group appeals at odds of 10/11 with William Hill and we’re using the three free £10 bets sign-up offer on this bet. They are predicted to end the tournament with no points in our correct score tips selected below.
|Date||Fixture||Score Prediction||Bet Now|
|17/06||Germany vs Mexico||1-1|
|18/06||Sweden vs South Korea||2-0|
|23/06||South Korea vs Mexico||0-2|
|23/06||Germany vs Sweden||1-0|
|27/06||South Korea vs Germany||0-2|
|27/06||Mexico vs Sweden||1-1|
We’re predicting a shaky start for Germany who could be held to a draw in their opening match against Mexico. Despite their obvious class, Germany are sometimes caught out by smaller teams and Mexico are good in tournaments. South Korea may struggle at both ends of the pitch meaning they’ll end bottom of the group and Sweden will just miss out on the last 16, picking up one win and a draw from their three matches. If they can get a result against Mexico they have an outside chance of pipping the central American side, but it may be a step too far without Zlatan in the line-up.
